Tafeli and the others are enjoying each other's company, when suddenly the whole ship is sucked into a black hole. It's revealed that Necrosan has created an entire dimension for him to sic the deadly Hellspawn unto the team in a deadly game that will ensure his revenge. He is also joined by Starfleet Magic's Titan and his minions for connivance. However, Marceline is too busy visiting her dad and Necrosan sends the honorable Hellspawn, Oblivion, to retrieve her. Needless to say, Hunston Abadeer doesn't take this kindly. Nevertheless, she's brought along for the ride.
