** Amity finds herself unable to go on the field trip due to needing to recover from last episode's leg injury, providing an aversion to characters' injuries disappearing by the next episode.
** Willow and Gus's attempts to fight Lilith with their artifacts are heavily one-sided on Lilith's part as the former two are still school witches going against a witch powerful enough to go toe to toe with Eda. Unless the object helping you is cosmic in scale, it is still no substitute for actual power.
