Oscar, as usual, finds himself short on funds right before the weekly poker game. When the lights go out and fifty dollars disappears from the pot, everyone thinks he's responsible.
!!This episode includes examples of the following tropes:
* BrickJoke: Felix knows their neighbor's very attractive new maid because he met her while on a shopping trip. At the end of the episode, the two of them meet up to go shopping together.
* ExactWords: Oscar tries to ask Felix for fifty dollars right before the poker game and gets rebuffed before he can even ask the question. When he protests that what he's going to ask didn't have to do with fifty dollars, Felix lets him ask it. It turns out he wants forty dollars.
* ShoutOut: While pondering how to prove his innocence, Oscar wonders how Charlie Chan would do it.
