The United Forces are at sea, with General Iroh, a young man, on the frontmost warship. A telegrapher tells him they received a wire from the Avatar that Republic City is under attack. The general tells him to reply that his forces will be there in three days and he looks forward to retaking the city together with her.

* DarkestHour: Republic City has completely fallen to the Equalists with all members of the government save Tenzin being systematically captured. In order to keep his family save Tenzin is forced to leave the city on bison and Lin sacrifices herself to stop the airships from going after them which leads to her losing her bending. Team Avatar is forced to hide for the time being and can only watch as the city falls. The only bright spot is that backup is coming in the form of the United Republic Forces lead by General Iroh.

* YourCheatingHeart: Asami confronts Mako about the kiss. He does not handle it gracefully.

It doesn't affect Asami's focus on the mission at all.

** Also, Iroh's big, badass fleet? The finale trailers show that it gets wrecked.

** A police airship gets shot down and landing in water. But Amon has sabotaged all the rescue boats.
** During the seige of the city, at least two more police airships are seen crashing at very high speed into ''skyscrapers.'' While an airship isn't quite as fast, it still weighs as much, or more than... [[FridgeHorror A jumbo jet...]]
** The numerous bomb explosions around the city. Unless there are Chi-blockers and such helping people get to safety, Amon and the Equalists just killed a whole lot of them.
