Hajime, of course, passes the test and gets to come to the island with Miyuki as an attendant, alongside a group of treasure hunters vying for the money. As soon as they make landfall, however, the expedition's immediately derailed when the host is found dismembered in a grandfather clock inside his own home - the supposed work of a mythical monster who hunts down all who seek the treasure of Hihou Island.
