Now, when Semyon leaved to Olga, Gleb and Phil have no money to pay the rent and are on the brink of eviction. Phil, in order to buy more time, fools their landlord into thinking that he is sick. Unfortunately, Bykov busts them and forces to reveal everything; but once he leaves, Phil and Gleb continues their deception, and tells their "patient" that he can't trust Bykov, who wants to kick him out to get more money -- and that he has to move to Venereology, since he has a serious problem... right in his ass. They manages to convince Kupitman (by promising him cognac) to give the patient a rectal examination, but gets busted by Bykov right afterwards. Kupitman saves their asses (figuratively) by revealing that their just saved the patient's ass (literally), since he has a benign tumour ''right here''; due to early discovering, it would be easy to treat. But then Kupitman increases the price for his services -- for not ratting them out to Bykov, who doesn't know about their true intentions to send patient here. On the bright side, landlord is willing to forgive them their debt.

Kisegach's mother wants to discuss something with Bykov, in private; maybe, she's aware about her daughter's pregnancy? And if so, who told her? Of corse, the first suspect is Gleb. Gleb insists that he just "hinted" her without admitting anything outright, to his mother's irritation. While Gleb's intentions are clear, it's not clear wether Marina realised everything or not; and if not, why she needs to talk with Bykov? Bykov talks with her, and learns that the real reason has nothing to do with pregnancy; Marina has started a relationship with some youngster, and is unsure how to tell her daughter. Bykov "solves" the problem by calling Anastasia, telling her that Marina is unaware of her pregnancy (being fully aware that Marina is here and can hear him), and then telling her about her mother's new boyfriend (in most ''un''-delicate manner possible). The problem solved!

Bykov immediately guesses the correct diagnosis for Lobanov's patient, but tells it only to Rita, in order to test how quickly Semyon would find the solution on his own. Lobanov doesn't even try, and instead asks Rita (who has a note with correct diagnosis), who refuses to answer. Semyon then tries to exploit her love for gambling: maybe he could "win" the note with correct solution this way? But when Lobanov wins, turn out that the note contains only insults from Bykov. Rita ''does'' know the real one, but Semyon has to win it, too. Semyon manages to win again, and goes to tell Bykov the diagnosis... only to learn that the treatment that Bykov told to Rita is correct, diagnosis is not -- Bykov was fully aware that he would try to cheat. Now, both Semyon and Rita are punished with a night shift. What else they have to do? Play again, of course!

* ByNoIMeanYes: During discussion about Rita and her love to gambling, Kupitman mentions that at some point, Rita had played with Bykov in TabletopGame/{{Backgammon}}, and put sex on bet; she'd lost. When asked by Semyon wether she paid the bet, he refuses to tell, stating that Bykov is his friend, Rita is his colleague, and he's a gentleman... only to immediately confirm that yes, she did.

Unfortunately, Bykov busted them and forced to reveal everything... but once he leaved, Phil and Gleb continued their deception, now convincing "patient" of two things: what Bykov wants him out so he would receive more money, and what he must move to Venereology instead, since he has major problem... right in his ass.

Speaking about Semyon, he has his own problem: Bykov wants to test him, by finding correct diagnosis for patient immediately... and telling it only to Rita, in order to test how quickly Lobanov would find solution by himself. He doesn't even tried and tried to ask Rita instead, but she refused. Lobanov then tried to exploit Rita's love to TabletopGame/{{Backgammon}}: maybe he could just "won" correct solution from her this way?

Lobanov provoked Rita into playing in backgammon, with her bet being that note. But, as it turns out, it only contained insults from Bykov. ''Real'' diagnosis knows Rita herself -- who is agree to play again on it.

Bykov busted Phil and Gleb again, right after they convinced Kupitman (by promising him cognac) to give their landlord rectal examination -- only to Kupitman to reveal what he actually found benign tumour in his ass (which would be easy to treat due to early diagnosis). Landlord actually forgave them their debt due to such happy occurrence... but Kupitman would not, and actually now demands more, for covering them before Bykov.

Bykov learned what real reason Marina wanted to talk with him is her new relationship with some youngster, and she's unsure how to tell to her daughter; she is unaware about pregnancy. Bykov dealt with situation by calling Anastasia... and telling her what he mother is unaware about pregnancy (being fully aware what Marina can hear) and tell her about her mother's new boyfriend (in most ''un''-delicate manner possible). Problem solved!

Lobanov managed to win again and tell Bykov diagnosis... only to learn what while Bykov tell Rita correct treatment, he lied about ''diagnosis itself'', being aware what Semyon may just learn it from her instead of thinking by himself. And now, they are ''both'' punished. What to do this long night? Of course, play again!

Now, when Semyon leaved to Olga, Gleb and Phil have no money to pay their rent and on the brink of eviction. Phil, in order to buy some time, fooled landlord into thinking what he is sick.

Kisegach's mother wants to discuss something with Bykov, in private; maybe, she's aware about her daughter's pregnancy? And if so, who tell her? Of corse, first suspect is Gleb. Gleb insists what he just "hinted" her without admitting anything outright, to his mother's irritation. While Gleb's intentions are clear, it's not clear wether Marina realised everything or not; and if not, why she needs to talk with Bykov?

!! This episode provides examples of:
* AccidentalTruth: Turns out, Gleb was right to send his landlord on [[AssShove rectal examination]] -- Kupitman found benign tumour in his ass, and since it was found early enough, it would be easy to treat.
* AssShove: Gleb diagnosed his "patient" with "[[BlatantLies prostate's aneurism]]" and asked Kupitman to examine him in exchange for cognac... rectally. Guy's look clearly shows it was rather traumatic experience for him, and he refused to discuss it; ''ever''.
* ByNoIMeanYes: During discussion about Rita and her love to gambling, Kupitman mentioned what once Rita bet sex in her party in TabletopGame/{{Backgammon}} with Bykov, and lost. When asked by Semyon wether she payed the bet, he refused to tell, stating what Bykov is his friend, Rita is his colleague, and he's gentleman... only to immediately confirming what yes, payed.
* CheatersNeverProsper: {{Invoked|Trope}} by Bykov, twice.
** He was well aware what Semyon would try and take note with "correct" diagnosis from Rita, so he wrote not diagnosis, but insult to Semyon's intellect. He, however, tell it to Rita directly, which later allowed her to bet in TabletopGame/{{Backgammon}} party with Semyon.
** Rita suggested to play again (she knows correct diagnosis herself)... but Bykov then revealed what he tell her only correct ''treatment'', not correct ''diagnosis'', being fully aware what this may happen.
* TheGamblingAddict: Rita has addiction to TabletopGame/{{Backgammon}}, but just can't win a single match with Bykov. Lobanov (who busted them during last match), later tried to learn more about Rita and backgammon, in hope to possibly exploit it (Rita has correct diagnosis to Semyon's patient, given to her by Bykov).
** Rita lost note with diagnosis to Lobanov, but it turns out to be fake. She, however, knows real one and later played with him again on it, with her own bet being promise to run around hospital, naked (Lobanov even recorded it so he may press her later).
** Kupitman mentioned what Rita once lost her kidney in backgammon; it "belonged" to him for some time, until she won it back.
** When Bykov punished both Semyon and Rita with night shift, since he locked backgammon in safe, Rita suggested to continue playing, but this time, in cards.
* HintDropping: Gleb insists what he only "hinted" his grandmother about his mother's pregnancy. Anastasia hopes what hints were too vague for Marina to find any ling with her daughter, but in this case, what she wants to discuss with Bykov in private?
* InducedHypochondria: Phil's plan to save his and Gleb's apartments, now, when they can't pay in time and landlord plans to kick them out is to make him think what he is sick and needs their help, so they would have time to find some money (and in order to fool him more, they would even forge tests' results). Gleb played along, despite not being aware what Phil tries to achieve. When he learned the truth, he was impressed, but mocked Phil what Americans used the same method to [[MoonLandingHoax fool everyone what they were on the Moon]].
* MayDecemberRomance: What Marina actually planned to discuss with Bykov turns out to be not Anastasia's pregnancy -- instead, she found new love (much younger than her), and wants Bykov's help to deliver this information instead of her.
* OutOfFocus: Varya doesn't appears in this episode.
* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: Used by Phil in order to fool their landlord into thinking what [[InducedHypochondria he is sick]]; for bonus points, second one Phil pronounced so quickly it's barely audible, yet alone, repeatable.
* SherlockScan: Bykov's demonstration of his diagnosis method to Semyon looked like this: he looks on her, recognises several minor details (combined with on-screen text), and combines them into one meaningful conclusion -- which immediately proves itself to be correct when he asked patient about it. Bykov then gives correct solution to Rita, and orders her to keep it hidden from Lobanov, who now must repeat the same feat by himself. She would check wether Semyon's diagnosis is correct (or at least meaningful), and tell Bykov. Semyon doesn't even tries and instead immediately asked Rita to reveal it, and, when denied, asked Kupitman for help with her.
* ShoutOut: Bykov called Phil and Gleb "Phil'ka" and "Stepashka"; this is shoutout to [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Night,_Little_Ones! long-running Russian children's TV program "Good Night, Little Ones!"]], specifically, two characters: puppet dog called Philya and puppet hare called "Stepasha".
* TakeAThirdOption: Marina is unaware about her daughter's pregnancy; Anastasia is unaware about her mother's new relationship. Both of them want Bykov to "delicately" deliver this information to other one. His solution? Call Anastasia's (in Marina's presence) and tell her what Marina is unaware about pregnancy, then mentioning what real reason for her calling was her new relationship with some youngster who probably just wants to exploit it for prestigious apartments. He then gave phone to Marina, so she can discuss everything with her daughter. He had a reason to do so: he knows them both well enough to knowing what otherwise they would waste ''a lot'' of time [[CantSpitItOut without even starting this discussion]]. This backfired, however, because they both had a heart attack.
