Bykov punishes Alexei, Timur and Polina for "being late" by ''four minutes'' with forty minutes longer working day. Alexei, not realising that Bykov has not yet leaved, started insulting him behind his back. Bykov gets so shocked with sheer idiocy of the situation, he fails to even come up with a good enough punishment, so he forces Alexei to come up with something by himself. And it must be something Bykov would find both punishing and funny! Alexei fails to come up with anything better than seven night shifts or floor cleaning, but Bykov refuses to accept such boring options. Having no better ideas on his own, Lyosha starts asking other people, but everyone offers either something ridiculous (like Sophia, who offers to wear off-size female shoes for a full day) or something lame (like Pasha, who can't come up with anything better than seven night shifts). He then tries to ask Bykov to just kick him, which Bykov happily does -- and asks about the punishment idea. Ultimately, Alexei fails to come up with any good idea, and out of desperation just asks Bykov to cut off his tongue, because what else they could do? Bykov actually likes that option; he injects Alexei's tongue with sedatives (which makes it bloat and unresponsive, making Alexei almost mute) and then tries to reach for scalpel. When Alexei runs away in panic, Bykov starts laughing like a maniac -- Lyosha's own fear was his actual punishment. But Bykov injected his tongue not just for fun, this is also a lesson: tongue, when not controlled by the brain, can be your own worst enemy.

Phil receives a job offer from a prestigious private clinic, where he would have a better salary, no night shifts and a boss who's not an alcoholic. Now Kupitman asks Kisegach to help him to force Phil to stay here, in their hospital. She asks him to cut all bullshit about "important cadre", "great specialist we can't afford to lose", etc, since she knows that Kupitman is more concerned with losing ability to dump all the dirty work on someone else, and having easy to manipulate underling, but she agrees that they can't lose Phil, so they may at least rise his salary. Then Bykov sends Kupitman a video about Phil's potential boss -- anti-haemorrhoids drug's ad which he's advertising. It seems that Phil has hired an actor to fool them into rising his salary, and there's no actually any "prestigious private clinic" at all! Kisegach wants to punish Phil immediately, but Kupitman has a better plan: they should teach him a lesson, and give him a taste of his own medicine. Kisegach invites Phil to her office to inform about rising his salary. Here also sits their long-serving janitor, crying: to raise Phil's salary, Kisegach must first cut some other expenses, so she would fire someone else whom she may sacrifice (they already have the overblown stuff), like this woman (even if it means that she would have no means to feed her three grandsons). Phil ''may'' save her... if she would agree to stay on his normal salary. To Kisegach's surprise, Phil decides to take the money, stating that he would rather not argue with her decisions. But later Phil finds the woman whom Kisegach just "fired", and offers his help: he may either help her find a place in another hospital, with better salary, or help with suing Kisegach, who fired her illegally. When she refuses both offers, he tries to insist, and she angrily tells that she's not even a janitor: she was asked to play a role of one. Phil goes to Kisegach and admits that he deceived her and Kupitman. When asked why he didn't just ask, he points that he ''tried'', but Kupitman wasted six months and never informed Kisegach, out of laziness. Kisegach sides with Phil, and not only rises his salary, but also forces Kupitman to pay everything he underpaid to Phil from ''his'' salary. When Kupitman tries to object, Kisegach warns him that if he wouldn't shut up, she would give Phil his vacation, too.

Gleb and Sophia plans to throw their wedding very soon (and register it today), and for it, they need money. Gleb remembers that Timur was interested in his car, and agrees to sell it now. Unfortunately, Timur immediately starts searching for excuses why Gleb should sell it below its average price (full 50K roubles cheaper, no less), including bringing up that one time Timur had damaged it to maintain a cover story about a road accident. Gleb reluctantly agrees. But then Polina tells Sophia that once they would actually marry, Gleb would stop acting like "prince charming" and their fairytale would turn into a boring everyday life -- just like it was with her and Timur. Even sex would happen six times less often. Sophia believes her, and suggests to postpone their wedding a bit. This gives Gleb more time to find a better offer than cheapskate Timur, about which he tells Timur in harsh terms. But then Rita warns Sophia that if she postpones the wedding for ''too long'', Gleb may lose interest in her and dump her (Rita had make such mistake herself once), which provokes her into changing her mind again; Gleb has to ask Timur for money once again, and Timur agrees -- after cutting another 50K from the price. Then Lyuba learns about the problem, and also suggests to postpone the marriage, so Sophia may decide by herself wether she wants it or not. This, naturally, means that Gleb must refuse Timur's offer again. Then Polina, Rita and Lyuba tries to force their views on Sophia ''simultaneously'', which makes her panic and run to Gleb, who tells her to stop listening to them: it's ''their'' decision, and their alone; and they wold make it now. When they finally decides that they ''would'' marry after all, Gleb uses the intercom to announce this, cutting Sophia any escape routes. Timur, predictably, cuts the price by another 50K, but also promises to help them with organising the wedding, showing that he cares not only about the money.

* BrickJoke: Alexei's first idea of the "great punishment" was seven night shifts. When Bykov rejects this idea as lame, Alexei starts asking people around. Amongst the people he asks is [[TheDitz Pasha]], whose idea is... seven night shifts.
* BurningTheShips: To ensure that Sophia would stop doubting about necessity of their marriage, Gleb uses the intercom to inform everyone about it, meaning that it would be too awkward to back out now.
* CallBack: Timur brings up the fact that Gleb's car is damaged as a reason why Gleb should sell it cheaper. Gleb then points out that it was Timur who damaged it.
* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot: {{Subverted|Trope}}; Kisegach asks Phil why he never tried to just ''ask'' for salary raise instead of just deceiving them, but he answers that he ''tried'', but Kupitman simply ignored him for ''six months'', and only reacted under the threat of losing his "personal slave". Kisegach actually sides with Phil after that.
* CrossingTheBurntBridge: Gleb tries to sell his car to Timur (he needs money for wedding, and he needs them ''now''), but Timur tries to cut ''very'' large part of the price. When Sophia decides that they should postpone their marriage for a time being, Gleb happily tells Timur where he can go with his cheapskate attitude... only to Sophia then change her mind again, and insist on the wedding herself, meaning that Gleb must now ask Timur for forgiveness and hope that he would not cut the price even more (which he naturally does). And then Sophia asks for postponing the marriage ''again''. Ultimately, Gleb snaps and just [[BurningTheShips makes a public announcement]], leaving Sophia with no way to postpone the wedding and save face, but by that point, Timur already gets 150K roubles cut in price.

Bykov punished Alexei, Timur and Polina for "being late" for four minutes with forty minutes longer working day. Alexei, not realising what Bykov not yet leaved, started insulting him behind his back. Bykov was so shocked with sheer idiocy of situation, he failed to even come up with good enough punishment, so he forced Alexei to come up with something by himself. And it must be something Bykov would find both punishing and funny!

Phil receives good offer from prestigious private clinic, where he would have better salary, no night shifts and non-alcoholic boss. Now Kupitman asks Kisegach to help him to force Phil to stay here, in their hospital. She asked him to cut all bullshit about "important cadre", "great specialist we can't afford to lose", etc, since she knows what Kupitman is more concerned with losing ability to dump all the dirty work on someone else, and having easily to manipulate underling, but she agrees what they can't lose Phil, so they may at least rise his salary.

Gleb and Sophia plan to throw their wedding party very soon (and register it today), and for it, they need money. Gleb remembered what Timur was interested in his car, and agreed to sell it now: he needs that money. Unfortunately, Timur immediately started searching for excuses why Gleb should sell in cheaper than average (full 50K roubles cheaper, no less), including bringing up that one time he damaged it to maintain cover story about road accident. Gleb reluctantly agreed.

Bykov sent Kupitman video about Phil's potential boss -- anti-haemorrhoids drug's ad which he advertised. It seems what Phil hired the guy (who's actually an actor) to fool them into rising his salary, and there's no actually any "prestigious private clinic" at all! Kisegach wanted to punish Phil immediately, but Kupitman has a better plan: they should teach him a lesson, and use his own medicine against him.

Bykov wouldn't accept seven -- or even ten -- night shifts as a proper punishment for Alexei (and neither he would accept floor cleaning). Nope, Lyosha, you must come up with something really creative.

Polina warns Sophia what once they actually become married, Gleb would stop acting like "prince charming" and their fairytale would become boring everyday life -- just like it was with her and Timur. Even sex would happen six times rarer. Sophia believed her and suggested to postpone their marriage a bit. And since there would be no marriage, Gleb has time to find better offer for his car than cheapskate Timur -- which he in rather harsh term immediately told him.

Kisegach invited Phil to her office to inform about rising his salary. Here also sits their long-serving janitor, crying: to raise Phil's salary, Kisegach must first cut some other expenses, so she would fire someone else whom they may sacrifice (they have overblown stuff already), like this woman (even if this means she would have no meanings to feed three grandsons). Phil ''may'' save her... if he would agree to stay on his normal salary. To Kisegach's surprise, Phil decided he would rather take the money, stating what he would rather not argue with her decisions.

Rita warned Sophia what it may be not that good idea to postpone marriage indefinitely -- Gleb may lose his patience and just dump her. This actually happened with Rita herself once. Naturally, Sophia rushed to Gleb to change her decision again -- meaning he ''again'' must ask Timur to accept his car... right after he angrily told him to screw himself. Timur accepted his plea -- but now he would cut not 50K, but full 100K from the price.

Since Alexei has no ideas for good punishment of his own, he started asking other people -- but everyone offers either something ridiculous (liker Sophia, who offered to wear off-size female shoes for a full day), or something lame (like Pasha, who couldn't come with anything better than seven night shifts). He then tried to ask Bykov to just kick him... which Bykov did, and then asked what his idea of punishment is.

Lyuba, when learned about Sophia's problem, suggested to postpone the marriage, so she may decide by herself wether she wants it or not (something in-between of what Polina and what Rita suggested). This, naturally, means Gleb must once again refuse Timur's offer.

Phil found the woman Kisegach "fired", and offered her help; he may either find her better place in other hospital -- or even help to sue Kisegach who fired her illegally (this is why Phil never protested Kisegach's decision earlier). When she refused both offer, but he still tried to insist, woman angrily told him what she's not even works here: she was asked to play this role. Phil then went to Kisegach and admitted what he deceived them. When asked why he never just asked for this, he pointed what he ''tried'', but Kupitman was too lazy to inform Kisegach, for the last half-of-year. Kisegach sided with Phil, and not just raised his salary -- but also forced Kupitman to pay everything he underpaid to Phil from ''his own'' salary. When Kupitman tried to object, Kisegach warned him what if he says anything more, she would give his vacation to Phil, too.

When Polina, Rita and Lyuba tried ''simultaneously'' force their views about wedding on Sophia, she panicked and run to Gleb, who told her to not listen either one of them -- its ''their'' decision, and their alone. And they would make it now. When they finally decided what they ''would'' marry, Gleb used intercom to inform anyone about it, cutting Sophia's escape route. No more doubts; they would just do it.

Alexei failed to come up with any good idea, and out of desperation just asked Bykov to cut off his tongue, because what else they could do? Bykov actually liked that option; he injected Alexei's tongue with sedatives (which caused it to bloat and stop responding, making Alexei almost mute) and then tried to reach scalpel. When Alexei run in panic, Bykov started laughing like a maniac -- Lyosha's own fear was his actual punishment. But Bykov injected his tongue not just for fun, this is also a lesson: tongue, when non-controlled by brain, can be your own worst enemy.

Timur predictably demanded to cut off 150K roubles now -- but also agreed to help with organising their wedding, showing he is not a total jerk.

funny! Alexei fails to come up with anything better than seven night shifts or floor cleaning, but Bykov refuses to accept such boring options. When asked why he never didn't just asked for this, ask, he pointed what points that he ''tried'', but Kupitman was too lazy to inform wasted six months and never informed Kisegach, for the last half-of-year. out of laziness. Kisegach sided sides with Phil, and not just raised only rises his salary -- salary, but also forced forces Kupitman to pay everything he underpaid to Phil from ''his own'' ''his'' salary. When Kupitman tried tries to object, Kisegach warned warns him what that if he says anything more, wouldn't shut up, she would give Phil his vacation to Phil, vacation, too.

When Gleb and Sophia plans to throw their wedding very soon (and register it today), and for it, they need money. Then Polina, Rita and Lyuba tried ''simultaneously'' tries to force their views about wedding on Sophia, she panicked Sophia ''simultaneously'', which makes her panic and run to Gleb, who told tells her to not listen either one of them -- its stop listening to them: it's ''their'' decision, and their alone. And alone; and they would wold make it now. When they finally decided what decides that they ''would'' marry, marry after all, Gleb used uses the intercom to inform anyone about it, announce this, cutting Sophia's Sophia any escape route.

But Bykov injected his tongue not just for fun, this is also a lesson: tongue, when non-controlled

* BrickJoke: Alexei's first idea of "great punishment" was seven night shifts. When Bykov rejected this idea as lame, Alexei started asking people around. Amongst people he asked was Pasha, whose idea was... seven night shifts.
* BurningTheShips: To ensure Sophia would stop doubting about necessity of their marriage, Gleb used intercom to inform everyone about it, meaning it would be too awkward to back out now.
* CallBack: Timur brought up the fact what Gleb's car is damaged as a reason why Gleb should sell it cheaper. Gleb then pointed out what Timur damaged it himself (meaning that time when Timur "covered" for him with "road accident" story all the way back in previous season).
* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot: {{Subverted|Trope}}; Kisegach asked Phil why he never tried to just ''ask'' for salary raise instead of just deceiving them, he answered what he ''tried'', but Kupitman simply ignored him for ''half a year''. Kupitman only reacted under threat to lose his "personal slave".
* CrossingTheBurntBridge: Gleb tried to sell his car to Timur (he needs money for wedding, and he needs them ''now''), but Timur tried to cut ''very'' large par to of the price. When Sophia decided they should postpone their marriage for a time being, Gleb happily told Timur where he can go with his cheapskate attitude... only to Sophia then change her mind again, and insist on the wedding herself, meaning Gleb must now ask Timur for forgiveness and hope he would not cut the price even more (which he naturally did).
* DisproportionateRetribution: You are four minutes late to start working? Bykov would force you stay on work for ''forty'' minutes longer, then.
* HeelRealisation: Invoked by Kisegach who tried to force Phil into realising what fooling people into rising your salary (by pretending what you have better offer) is bad, by pretending to fire their janitor (old woman who raises three grandsons by herself since their parents are alcoholics). Phil initially accepted the salary raise, not being willed to argue with Kisegach, but then learned what this woman is actually actress by talking with her (he tried to "help" her). After this, he admitted what he deceived them, [[SubvertedTrope but refused to admit what he was wrong at doing this]], since it was the last option he had: legal way he was supposed to do that just not worked on Kupitman, who was too lazy to just go and talk with Kisegach about it.
* ImStandingRightHere: After Bykov punished Alexei, Timur and Polina for "being late" for four minutes with [[DisproportionateRetribution forty minutes longer working day]], Alexei, not realising what Bykov not yet leaved, started insulting him behind his back. Bykov was so shocked with sheer idiocy of situation, he failed to even come up with good enough punishment, so he forced Alexei to come up with something by himself.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Timur repeatedly cut the price for Gleb's car, knowing what Gleb needs money right now and has no time to search for better offer... but in the end offered to help with organising Gleb's wedding with Sophia, strongly implying what this would cost him all the money he saved by decreasing the price in the first place. He then trolled him about buying everyone booze, because he "just bought great car extremely cheaply".
* LaserGuidedKarma: Since it was Kupitman's fault what Phil tried this plan in the first place (he was too lazy to even talk with Kisegach about pay raise, despite it not costing ''him'' anything), whatever Phil not received for the last half-a-year, he would receive from ''Kupitman's'' salary instead.
* PreemptiveShutUp: When Kupitman tried to object to [[LaserGuidedKarma large part of his salary going to Phil] (as punishment for not bothering to ask Kisegach to raise Phil's salary, for ''half-a-year'', out of sheer laziness), Kisegach warned him what if he wouldn't shut up now, she would give to Phil Kupitman's vacation, as well.
