Gleb and Sophia are almost ready to move into their new room; the only one thing is left -- inform Sophia's parents. But Kisegach thinks that moving together is very serious step, and neither of them is ready for that (''especially'' Sophia); Gleb interprets it as her not trusting them, and feels offended. When Sophia learns that Gleb's mother is against them moving together, she tries to suggest that maybe she's right, but Gleb ignores her. Unknowingly to them, Bykov accidentally overhears their dialogue. Bykov discusses the situation with Kisegach; Anastasia is nervous that the things are escalating too quickly, while Bykov is completely calm: after all, who'd be stupid enough to marry Gleb? He never managed to have relationships lasting for more than a month, and despite all his claims, is too immature to make such serious step as marriage; Sophia would soon realise it, and dump him on her own. Kisegach actually agrees with his arguments: they don't need to interfere, Gleb would ruin everything by himself. Bykov then tells Gleb about this discussion, and says that Gleb's mother is no longer against their marriage -- because Gleb is too dumb for it. When asked wether he would take his words back if he ''would'' marry Sophia, Bykov points that such question only serves to confirm his words. Gleb decides to prove otherwise, and call Sophia's parents to announce his relationship with their daughter. Sophia backs out at the last moment, suggesting to tell them later, when she would be "better prepared", to which Gleb reluctantly agrees. But Gleb can't forget Bykov's words, and, after drinking "for courage", calls Sophia's parents by himself, to announce that he's now in relationship with Sophia.

This is the first day of Phil and Polina living together -- and this already feels uncomfortable, since so many things are different. Timur, meanwhile, learns about them moving together, and tries to befriend Phil, planning to exploit him to get closer to Polina. He even pretends to like baseball (despite not knowing the rules) to have excuse to visit Phil, who may teach him. Polina, when hears this, thinks that Timur is exploiting him, not being interested in neither baseball nor Phil himself, but Phil doesn't believe her. Comes evening, and Timur indeed comes to Phil, but instead of concentrating on baseball match, the very first thing he asks is where's Polina. When told that she's at her friend, he looks on his wristwatch and asks when she would return, and tries to leave when told that she'd be late, possibly even tomorrow -- only to stop when Phil accuses him of being only interested in Polina, not him. Timur changes his mind at the last moment, and decides to stay after all. When Polina actually returns, she sees now not exactly sober Phil and Timur playing baseball right in the room, with oranges instead of balls. When she calls them on making a mess, Timur realises that he almost ruined everything, and tries to offer his help: since he plans to go to her friend instead of staying here, he may at least escort her. She realises that he only pretended to be drunk (unlike Phil) and that it was his plan all along, but agrees if he would follow her conditions.

Alexei can't convince his patient that he ''really'' needs an operation. Realising that the problem is in Lyosha not being persuasive enough, Bykov proceeds to doing this via his own methods. The patient thinks that he doesn't need an operation? Give him two papers; on the one he would write that he refuses operation, on another he would write his will, because he wouldn't live for more than a month without it. This helps the patient to realise just ''how'' serious the stakes are. Now, when he knows how it works, Alexei must deal with another patient (a granny refusing to take pills) by himself. Lyosha tries to repeat Bykov's method, but when he tells the patient that it's time to write her will, she replies that she already did -- and that she distrusts him, thinking that he's too young to be competent. Lyosha tries to ask Rita, who tells him that grannies like these only trusts TV -- or other grannies. Alexei decides to ask Kupitman to play that "granny", and when he predictably refuses, outright blackmails him. Kupitman deals with the problem, but when Lyosha tells about it to Rita, she busts into laugh. She then explains her laughing to Lyuba, who in turn tells to Kupitman, and now Kupitman wants to tear Lyosha a new one for his "pranks". But then Alexei states that the plan actually didn't work: the patient lied to get rid of Kupitman, but actually considered him to be ''too young'' to be of any authority. Kupitman finds it so funny, he forgives Alexei and lets him go. Fortunately for Lyosha, Bykov intervenes again, and tells the patient that he would kick Alexei out for his failure. Realising that her stubbornness can cost Alexei his job, the patient reluctantly agrees to take her pills. However, Lyosha would still be punished with a night shift, as the whole point was him developing savviness on his own.

* BrutalHonesty: Bykov doesn't even try to hide the fact that he has zero trust in Gleb and his ability to act serious or become good husband. He tells him that Kisegach is no longer against their marriage, believing Gleb to be a dumbass and SpoiledBrat, fundamentally incapable of building serious relationship, even if his life depends on it. Gleb asks wether he would take his words back if Gleb ''would'' marry Sophia, but Bykov points that if he marries Sophia just to prove that he's not dumbass, he would act like one. Gleb has no counterargument for that, and [[IResembleThatRemark his later actions essentially proves Bykov right]].

Gleb and Sophia are almost ready to move into their new room; only one thing left -- inform Sophia's parents.

This is first day as Phil and Polina live together -- and this already feels uncomfortable, since so many things are different.

Alexei can't convince his patient what he ''really'' needs that operation. After Bykov realised what problem is in Alexei not being persuasive enough, he proceed to doing this via his own methods. Patient thinks he doesn't need operation? Give him two papers; on one he would write what he refuses operation, on another he would write his will, because he wouldn't live more than for month without it. This helped patient to realise ''how'' serious the stakes are. Now, when he knows how it works, Alexei must deal with another patient (granny refusing to take pills) by himself.

Kisegach thinks what moving together is very serious step, and neither Gleb nor Sophia are ready for this (''especially'' Sophia). Gleb interpreted it as her not trusting them, and was only offended by this.

Alexei tried to implement Bykov's advice, and suggested his patient to start writing her will -- only to learn what she did so already. She also distrust him, thinking he is too young to be competent.

Timur learned what Phil now lives with Polina, and tries to befriend him, thinking to exploit him to get closer to Polina. He even pretended to like baseball (but not knowing the rules) to have excuse to visit Phil, so he may teach him.

Sophia asks Gleb how his talk with Kisegach went, and, when learned what she's against them moving together, tried to suggest what she may be right, which Gleb ignored. Unknowingly to them, Bykov (who was presented, but, despite putting earphones, not yet started listening to anything) overheard everything.

Alexei tried to ask Rita for help with his patient. Rita stated what grannies like her would only believe TV -- or other grannies. Alexei then tried to ask Kupitman to act as that "granny", and when he refused, outright blackmailed him.

Kisegach and Bykov discuss Gleb and Sophia. While Kisegach is nervous what things escalate too quickly, Bykov is completely calm: after all, who would be stupid enough to marry Gleb? His relationship never lasted for more than month, and despite all his claims, he is not nearly mature enough to actually make such serious step as marriage. Bykov is sure: Sophia would soon realise this, and dump him. And Kisegach actually agreed with him. They don't need to even interfere: Gleb would ruin everything himself.

Phil informs Polina about Timur's visit, and she points out what Timur just exploits Phil; he isn't interested in either Phil or baseball -- this is just excuse to get closer to Polina. Phil didn't believe him.

Kupitman dealt with Alexei's problem, but then, when he told so to Rita, she bursted in laugh. She explained the situation to Lyuba, she explained to Kupitman, and Kupitman now would tear Alexei a new one for his "pranks". But then Alexei stated what plan failed anyway: patient lied what she would do as asked in order to get rid of Kupitman; otherwise, she considers him to be "too young" to be of any authority. Kupitman actually considered it to be so funny, he forgave Alexei and let him him go.

Bykov informs Gleb what his mother is no longer against his (potential) marriage with Sophia -- because Bykov assured her what it would never work anyway. Why? Because Gleb is dumbass and spoiled brat, just incapable to create serious relationship even if his life depends on it. When Gleb asked wether he would take his words back if he ''would'' marry Sophia, Bykov pointed what this mere question confirms what he just said: if Gleb would marry Sophia to disprove what he is dumbass, this would ''prove'' what he is dumbass. Gleb has nothing to say to him.

Evening. Timur arrived to Phil, but, instead of concentrating on baseball match, literally ''first'' thing he asked is where Polina (she isn't here, she went to her friend). Then he watched his wrist watch, and asked where she would return. When Phil said what she would be late (or even tomorrow), Timur tried to leave, only to change his mind when Phil accused him on only being interested in Polina, not him. Timur changed his mind at the last moment and decided to stay after all.

Since Alexei is unable to deal with his patient, Bykov has no reason to keep him around. Patient realised what he stubbornness can cost Alexei his job, and reluctantly agreed to take her pills, so Alexei would have another chance. Predictably, it turns out to be another one of Bykov's schemes... though Alexei would still be punished with night shift, since he was supposed to develop savviness himself.

Gleb and Sophia called Sophia's parents to announce what they are now in relationship. But Sophia backed out at last moment, suggesting to tell them later, when she would be "better prepared", and Gleb reluctantly agreed.

Not exactly sober Phil and Timur are playing baseball right in the room, with oranges instead of balls -- just in time for Polina to appear and call them out on making a mess. Timur realised he just almost ruined everything, and tried to offer her help: since she plans to go to her friend instead of staying here, he may at least escort her. She realised he isn't drunk at all (unlike Phil), and planned this all along, but agreed on her conditions anyway.

Gleb still can't forget Bykov's words, and he (after drinking "for courage") called Sophia's parents by himself, to announce he is now in relationship with her.

!! This episode provides examples of:
* BrutalHonesty: Bykov doesn't even tries to hide the fact what he has zero trust in Gleb and his ability to act serious or become good husband.
* DudeNotFunny: Alexei was in desperate need for "granny" to persuade his patient (another granny). Whom he asked? [[RunningGag Kupitman]]. Kupitman didn't react well when he learned about this, at all, and only stopped yelling on Lyosha when he told what plan never worked out anyway. He forgave him when he realised what for Alexei's patient, he is, apparently, ''too young'', which he considered to be funny.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Alexei's patient is very stubborn in distrusting doctors younger than her (and she is rather old), but not to the point of causing them being fired over not being convincing enough. Bykov actually counted on this when he announced he would kick Alexei out, and turns out to be right.
* FalseFriend: Timur pretends to be Phil's new best friend... all just so he may get closer to Polina. Polina [[CassandraTruth actually tried to warn Phil about this]], but was ignored.
* GrumpyOldMan: Alexei's patient is elderly woman who insists what only she knows what's better for her, dismissing both Alexei ''and'' Kupitman as "inexperienced youngsters". She did accept them when Bykov threatened to fire Alexei for "incompetence", though.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: Alexei's patient distrusts him because he is too young... and because she had seen how new doctors are taught "[[Series/TheInterns on TV]]".
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Sure, Gleb, best way to convince your girlfriend's (very conservative and having ControlFreak tendencies) parents what she is in good hands (and to prove to your step-father what you are not dumbass) is to call them while drunk and to announce what you plan to marry her. [[WhatCouldPossiblyGoWrong it certainly wouldn't cause any problems, would it]]?
