* VehicularSabotage: At one point, the villains do manage to kidnap the blinded Uncle Jesse, but -- while the bad guys leave the shack where they are holding Jesse prisoner -- the wily Duke patriarch gets away ... and then temporarily sabotages the bad guys' car by cutting the fan belt. (The bad guys do manage to get their car re-started, but Jesse has bought enough time to get to Coy and Vance.)
