* BrokenAesop: Both episodes have a rather contrasting interpretation of being honest, with "Pandora's Suggestion Box" warning to spare others' feelings, despite "Chez Piglet" saying not to let this get in the way of making your voice heard. Granted combined it can be interpreted as it being okay to state your opinion, but be ''tactful'' about it rather than devolving into ceaseless petty nitpicks.

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Tiny, meek Piglet eventually loses his temper and later is extremely harsh when helping emphasize to Rabbit what trouble he's been putting him in. He also deliberately becomes an UnsatisfiableCustomer to get more payback at the end of the episode.

* InnocentlyInsensitive: The animals had no idea Piglet was being worked to the bone, and their antics such as Owl trying to go into another story and Tigger's UnsatisfiableCustomer listed below were purely innocent.
* InsaneTrollLogic: Despite being the maitre'd, Rabbit still plays a food critic and has the nerve to criticize the restaurant for not having a maitre'd. He seems to think he's still just playing pretend like Piglet was at the start of the episode.

Eeyore pretty much spells it out:

** Running a business is a ''lot'' of work and one person can't be expected to do it all without limits. Playing pretend is one thing, but Rabbit forces Piglet to do all the work without break.
* FriendshipMoment: Eeyore recognizes Piglet is tired and that the restaurant is closed, so even though he came by for a late night snack, he listens to Piglet's frustrations and agrees to find food elsewhere.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: The animals had no idea Piglet was being worked to the bone, and their antics such as Owl trying to go into another story and Tigger's UnsatisfiableCustomer listed below were purely innocent.

* ItsAllAboutMe: Rabbit forces the whole Chez Piglet fiasco because he enjoyed pretending he was at a fancy restaurant being served.
* LethalChef: Piglet understandably worries he's not going to do a good job cooking the foods from Rabbit's menu. However, none of the residents are seen complaining about his cooking, meaning he must've been able to pull off whatever the others ordered.

* JerkassHasAPoint: Rabbit has bad intentions when he made the box, but he isn't wrong that the suggestions for acorns to grow from lower branches or for clouds to take different colors aren't exactly going to happen.

* JerkassRealization: Rabbit finally realizes how rude he's been when Eeyore clarifies his criticism was actually a compliment, and apologizes for his behavior.

* WomenAreWiser: Downplayed. Kanga is the only animal Rabbit aims no onscreen suggestions towards, and while Kessie does get one (the first in fact) she's one of few to actually understand it and promise to rectify it. They still agree with some of the other more non-sensical suggestions by Pooh and Piglet however.

!! The episode as a whole contains examples of:
* CentralTheme: Both episodes have AnAesop on honesty. "Chez Piglet" lays out that you should speak your mind if something's wrong, while "Pandora's Suggestion Box" is about being careful with criticism to avoid hurting the feelings of others.

-->'''Piglet:''' Err...yes?
-->'''Tigger:''' Uhh nuts. I hate potatoes.
