* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Jon just barely manages to avoid expulsion, having to take his classes online from now on, and Lois and Clark get calls from several parents who don't want him anywhere near their children. The Smallville Crows also had to forfeit every game of the season due to the drug involvement.
** Nat [[RageBreakingPoint finally blows up at Clark]], making it clear that the sudden and radical change in her life was not an easy one, especially having to live with somebody who looks like the man that killed her mother. Clark acknowledges this, and he gives her and her father another place to live in.
** Despite Kyle helping her prepare for her mayoral debate and the two seeming on the way to possibly mending old wounds, Lana is still unable to fully (if ever) forgive Kyle.

John Henry is still recovering from his injuries and Natalie is having trouble coping with her anxiety at his near brush with death. Jonathan is still refusing to reveal his drug supplier much to his family's displeasure while Candice finds herself under pressure to pay for the confiscated drugs. Superman and General Lane continue the search for the now fugitive Anderson, while Ally, with both pendants now in her possession, begins her plan to unite with her alternate self and make the world whole.

To the extent that he subsequently uses it to rush back to his planned meeting with Sarah and Aubrey after he is done saving his brother and Candice.

This time, her experience with Lucy has softened her stance while Clark, dealing with a bunch of issues, is much harder on Jon. * NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Jordan fights off Candice's supplier Micky, who is amped on XK, to save both her and Jon, but despite being the stronger of the two he still suffers bloody knuckles and other minor wounds from fighting someone nearly as tough as himself. With no way to explain this to Sarah, he decides to skip the meet up with her and Aubrey even though it will disappoint Sarah.
* ProperlyParanoid: Ally suspected her plan to cross over might hit a snag, since they had to get past the DOD to reach the portal, so she left Lucy behind as a failsafe to bail her out if she was captured.
