* FiveSecondForeshadowing: The first hint that the meeting with White Diamond won't go according to plan is when her Pearl appears to escort "Pink Diamond" to White's chamber. White Pearl's face is covered in cracks, and [[WhamLine Deedo Magno Hall doesn't voice her]].

* MassOhCrap: The Crystal Gems react this way when White Pearl takes away Steven.

Added DiffLines:

** Not a line per se, but the first sense that things won't go well with White is when her Pearl speaks, and Deedo Magno Hall doesn't play her. White Diamond and White Pearl share the same voice actress.

* YouCantThwartStageOne: Fearing the consequences of White Diamond learning the truth, Yellow Diamond decides that she would act as mediator to keep White Diamond calm and break the news to her. Unfortunately, that plan immediately has a wrench thrown into it when White Diamond's Pearl comes and snatches him up before Yellow has the chance. Granted, it is implied that White Diamond knows more than Yellow and Blue ever did.

----
Steven travels to visit family.
----
!!Tropes:
* {{Adorkable}}: It's demonstrated that Pink was [[DrivesLikeCrazy hilariously awful]] at driving her own Leg Ship (a deliberate contrast from Blue and Yellow's Arm Ships) when Steven awkwardly steers his way into the Bay to take off for Homeworld. He apologizes to Pearl and the other Diamonds, saying that his mother/Pink was probably more graceful driving the ship than he is, and all Pearl can say is a fond "Heh. No... not really," and all the while [[FreezeFrameBonus Yellow has her eyes shut in exasperation while Blue simply has a goofy grin on her face remembering Pink's antics.]]
* AdultFear: Yellow and Blue are terrified about what White Diamond will do to "Pink" for her rebellion. They find their mother figure terrifying and want to shield their little sister by softening the blow.
* AffectionateNickname: White Diamond calls Steven "Starlight".
* AmbiguousDisorder: White Diamond's Pearl decrees that White Diamond wants to speak to Pink Diamond (Steven) alone. She does not even look at him or anyone else as she does, all while keeping a vacant smile. Couple that with the position she is stuck in and the noticeable fracture on her face, it is very likely that she has suffered a trauma from the AmbiguouslyEvil White Diamond that has left both a physical and psychological scar. To top it all off, she's the only Pearl who isn't voiced by Deedee Magno Hall, but rather Christine Ebersole, the same voice actress for White Diamond.
* AmbiguouslyEvil: White Diamond casually welcomes "Pink" back and speaks to him with motherly affection, but Yellow describes her as having a temper and Blue refers to her as being "difficult". Her behavior prior to this and her plans for Pink/Steven after she sends him away are unknown.
* AndCallHimGeorge: The episode begins with Blue Diamond cuddling Steven with relief, harmlessly squashing him in the process.
* AngerBornOfWorry: Although Yellow Diamond is just as relieved as Blue to find out Pink wasn't shattered, she's very angry to have not known everything and demands an explanation.
-->'''Yellow:''' How could you do this to us Pink? Why did you let us think you were shattered? Why the strange disguise?! Why are you doing a voice?! Why didn't you say something at the trial?!
* ArtShift: Now that Yellow and Blue are no longer actively antagonizing the Crystal Gems (having come to a ceasefire after discovering Steven's true identity as Pink), they are filmed more from a mid-range like the other heroic characters, rather than the HitlerCam and DutchAngle shots used before to make them so imposing. Yellow Diamond in particular is drawn in a less angular manner, emphasizing her full lips and facial expressions to contrast her [[TheStoic formerly stoic and icy nature]]. This is deliberately done so [[GreaterScopeVillain White Diamond]] comes across as so otherworldly she dives head-first into the UncannyValley.
* AscendedFridgeHorror: Blue comes to the horrifying realization that [[AdultFear Pink was on Earth]] when the Corruption Beam hit, and ''how did Pink and the Crystal Gems survive being "obliterated"?''
* BigSisterInstinct: When Blue Diamond gets upset over White Diamond, Yellow comforts her, presumably wanting to protect her from White as well.
* BigWhat: Amethyst, first when Nephrite is uncorrupted and identifies herself, and later when Yellow Diamond mentions White Diamond by name.
* BodyHorror: White Pearl has a crack going through her head where an ''eye'' should be, traveling into one of her hair buns, like her body is a damaged porcelain doll.
* BrokenRecord: Nephrite, restored to her body and vocabulary by Yellow and Blue's efforts, can only repeat the last thing she said before being corrupted until Steven fully restores her mind.
* TheBusCameBack: Centipeetle makes her return when Steven shows the Diamonds the effects of the Corruption. She is also confirmed to be a Nephrite of Pink Diamond's court (and her commanding officer is a Hessonite).
* BusmansVocabulary: Bismuth tells Steven she's unwilling to go to Homeworld with the Diamonds and "put herself on their anvil". When Steven doesn't understand what she means, she puts it in familiar terms: he's going into the lions' den, but reminds Steven that ''he'' is a lion too, and must be prepared to roar in their language.
* CallBack:
** Steven, the Crystal Gems and the Diamonds go to [[Recap/StevenUniverseS4E20Lion4AlternateEnding Rose's dump]], and Steven discovers that the pink "pyramids" he saw on his first visit are the knees of Pink Diamond's leg-shaped ship.
** Homeworld's external appearance looks similar to [[Recap/StevenUniverseS2E27ItCouldveBeenGreat the hologram of the planned colony on Earth]] and [[Recap/StevenUniverseS5E12JungleMoon the dead planet orbited by the Jungle Moon]], suggesting that it hasn't been destroyed, but torn apart by the massive Kindergarten at its core.
* CassandraTruth: Even after Steven explains who he is to Yellow and Blue, they're still under the assumption he's Pink Diamond and continue addressing him as "Pink", though it's likely that they just prefer to address him that way because of how much they loved Pink, and, at least in Yellow's case, a hope that he'll recover some of her memories eventually (either that or, as Steven points out, [[BizarreAlienReproduction they don't know what a 'mom' is]]).
* {{Cliffhanger}}: The episode ends with White Diamond teleporting Steven into what seems to be Pink Diamond's throne room, full of pink bubbles.
* CombinationAttack: A variant; Yellow healed Centipeetle's physical form, Blue healed her psyche, and Steven restored her mind, reverting her back to her original form. Unfortunately, the effect only lasted for as long as they maintained physical contact.
* ConspicuouslyLightPatch: Yellow Diamond's ship is drawn like part of the background except the index finger, which falls off as Yellow Diamond tries to bring the ship out of the water.
* ContinuityNod:
** Yellow Diamond asks "Pink" why she didn't reveal her identity sooner when she was on [[Recap/StevenUniverseS5E2TheTrial trial]].
** Amethyst hopes to meet other [[Recap/StevenUniverseS4E14ThatWillBeAll Famethysts]] on Homeworld.
** A cross-media example: Hessonite, the main villain from ''VideoGame/SaveTheLight'', resembles Centipeetle's crayon drawing of her commander from [[Recap/StevenUniverseS3E14MonsterReunion "Monster Reunion"]]. In this episode, Nephrite confirms that her commander is indeed a Hessonite while apologizing to the Diamonds.
* CoolAunt: Yellow and Blue Diamond plan to talk to White to soften the blow that Pink is alive to protect Steven, albeit alive as in "faked her death" and "gave everyone a scare", as White later puts it. Before they can, however, White Pearl teleports Steven away.
* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot: Discussed; Yellow Diamond expresses her annoyance that Steven didn't tell them he was Pink Diamond during [[Recap/StevenUniverseS5E2TheTrial "Rose Quartz's" trial]], which would have saved everyone a lot of agony. To counteract this, Steven says he doesn't have any of Rose or Pink's memories, or he would have happily told the Diamonds his real identity if he had known at the time. Yellow disapprovingly expresses hope that the memories will return.
* CoveredInScars: White's Pearl has cracks along her face, completely covering where she would have one eye and even extending into her hair.
* CueTheFallingObject: Yellow Diamond attempts to raise her ship out of the water. The camera cuts to the destroyed ship, which barely budges before the index finger falls off.
* DeliberateMonochrome: White Pearl, White Diamond, and the chamber the latter stays in are entirely shades of white, gray, and black, Steven's presence introducing a SplashOfColor.
* DisapprovingLook: While Steven makes his spiel about finding Pink Diamond's ship while standing right next to it, Blue and Yellow Diamond silently glance at the ship and back at Steven.
* DissonantSerenity: White Diamond is ''far'' too calm at "Pink's" return, in the face of seemingly learning one of her "daughters" staged a rebellion against her empire, faked her own death, hid away under an assumed identity for 6,000 years, and then up and walked back into her throne room as a half-organic, no less.
-->'''White:''' Did you have fun? Did you get everything out of your system?\\
'''Steven:''' I-\\
'''White:''' Good, good.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: White Pearl's robotic nature and unceasing smile, coupled with the crack-like scars over her eye, may cause one to think she's been lobotomized.
* DoubleMeaningTitle: The episode title works on multiple levels.
** The Diamonds and the Crystal Gems recover Pink Diamond's personal starship, which follows the body-part theme by being a pair of legs. They fly this ship back to Homeworld.
** This also references a common phrase "legs from here to [faraway location]", which refers to a person with long, attractive legs, in this case being the ridiculously tall White Diamond.
** The phrase "[Object] from here to [faraway location]" can also be used to express a surplus. Steven demonstrates Gem Corruption by introducing Yellow and Blue to the Centipeetle, who has many, many legs in her corrupt form.
* TheDreaded: White Diamond's [[HairTriggerTemper temper]] is apparently enough to scare ''Yellow Diamond''. The mere mention of her is certainly enough to give Bismuth, Garnet and Pearl a fright. When her Pearl takes Steven away, Yellow and Blue don't even ''try'' to intervene, and if they react that way to her [[ServantRace Pearl]]...
* EasilyForgiven:
** Zig-zagged with Blue and Yellow Diamond. The Crystal Gems (especially Garnet) are understandably still apprehensive of them, but reluctantly decide to trust them during their cease-fire. Steven, on the other hand, shows no fear towards them and welcomes them as his family, although he does also hold them accountable for corruption and insist they be the ones to come up with a cure to atone for it. While they do feel the same about him, Yellow is initially angry at "Pink" for not revealing "her" identity sooner.
** This seems to be the case with White Diamond on the surface, but her tone, unwillingness (or lack of care) to listen to Steven/"Pink", and how quickly she shuffles him off to Pink's room suggest otherwise.
* EnemyMine: Downplayed; the Diamonds and the Crystal Gems have silently called for a ceasefire while Steven tries to explain what happened to Pink Diamond and what the Corruption Beam did. In any case, the Crystal Gems are letting Steven try to negotiate peace because fighting again would exhaust everyone with no happy outcome.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Though White Diamond is AmbiguouslyEvil, her AffectionateNickname for Pink, later Steven, and calmness over "Pink"'s return, suggests that she really does love them (she is Pink's "mother" and Steven's "grandmother", after all).
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Blue and Yellow Diamond have engaged in multiple planetary genocides, kidnapped humans with no regards for their autonomy, and nearly destroyed a perfectly good organic planet in a bid for revenge. At least, Yellow wanted the Cluster while Blue wanted to make the surviving Crystal Gems suffer her millennia of pain. But they agree, for Steven's sake, to try and heal Corruption despite needing White Diamond's help; pragmatically, it means they can restore all the thousands of soldiers they lost and emotionally they can't bear the sight of a Corrupted Gem. They also decide that if Steven talks with White Diamond then he needs to be protected.
* EyeScream: White Pearl's scar goes over where her other eye should be.
* FacelessMasses: The group's arrival at Homeworld is met by a crowd of Gems on top of a building. The initial shot has them drawn as wiggling stripes organized to form a Homeworld symbol. Another shot shows them from behind, from which one can recognize Aquamarines and either Era 1 Peridots or another gem type with similar hair and coloration.
* FailedASpotCheck:
** Centipeetle is so enthralled to see Steven and eat the Chaaaaps he brought her that she fails to notice the two Diamonds standing in front of her. Only when Steven talks to them does she look up, and her jaw drops at the sight.
** Steven takes everyone to his mother's storage space in the desert, reasoning that her ship will be there. As he goes on about how they'll need to split up around the two "pink pyramids" to find it, everyone stares blankly at the giant pink legs that Steven is oblivious to.
* FateWorseThanDeath: Apparently, the Diamonds blasted the Earth in order to ''obliterate'' every Gem on its surface, [[GoneHorriblyWrong but instead corrupted them into the Gem Monsters]] [[CallBack the Crystal Gems have been hunting down ever since to this very day]].
* FeetFirstIntroduction: The first shot seen of White Diamond is her pedicured feet in heeled sandals.
* FlatJoy: Yellow Diamond snarkily replies "Fantastic" when Steven announces that they're going to Homeworld.
* ForgotAboutHisPowers: Steven doesn't try to use his healing spit on the broken Diamond ships, which works on inanimate objects. With that said, it might have taken a ''lot'' of spit to fix the Cluster damage.
* FreezeFrameBonus: Two in succession: when the group arrives on Homeworld, there's a wide shot showing Pink and White Diamond's ships sitting on two marked landing pads, with two empty ones, all forming a diamond shape. Then, when the group is welcomed by the crowd of Gems, there's a shot of several new Gems, including a row of Aquamarines and (possibly) Era 1 Peridots.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: While Steven is putting his foot down about Yellow and Blue helping the Corrupted Gems, Centipeetle (aka Nephrite) steals a [[TrademarkFavoriteFood bag of Chaaaaps]] and scuttles back into the Homeworld Dropship.
* GaiasLament: Homeworld has apparently been mined for resources so heavily that the planet's crust is breaking apart, leaving it [[ShatteredWorld split into several large pieces]].
* GhostlyGlide: White Diamond's Pearl is seen exclusively floating by the tips of her feet.
* GoneHorriblyWrong: Apparently, when the Diamonds blasted the Earth with their combined attack, they were supposed to ''obliterate'' every Gem on its surface, [[FateWorseThanDeath but they ended up corrupting them instead.]] [[Recap/StevenUniverseS1E44MarbleMadness It was foreshadowed by Peridot in "Marble Madness" when she states that Homeworld's records said that Gems were wiped out on Earth]] [[Recap/StevenUniverseS4E1KindergartenKid and in "The Kindergarten Kid" by saying that Homeworld doesn't have any corrupted Gems]], since it's revealed that Earth isn't supposed to have any corrupted Gems as well.
* GreaterScopeVillain: Where Homeworld and the Crystal Gem Rebellion has been concerned, thus far the emphasis has been on Yellow and Blue as the leaders behind the forces arrayed against Earth, with White Diamond being hinted at but nothing of substance ever said. Now that Steven has created at least an uneasy peace with Yellow and Blue, we are given information on White. She is more powerful than the other diamonds, in terms of political power, size, and actual powers, and is apparently temperamental to the point where Yellow and Blue are ''frightened'' of her.
* HairTriggerTemper: White Diamond's temper is apparently so bad that even ''Yellow'' of all people is absolutely terrified of it.
* HazyFeelTurn: Blue and Yellow Diamond have made peace with Steven and the Crystal Gems and agree to help Steven cure Corruption, though it's unknown whether this will change their plans and views with Earth, or if they'll [[BenevolentBoss treat their subjects better]].
* HighSchoolAU: The promo image, which depicts the legs of Steven, Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst in their uniforms.
* HomeGuard: Bismuth decides to stay on Earth to look after things (two of which being Lapis and Peridot, who have yet to reform).
* HopeSpot:
** Centipeetle/Nephrite's corruption is reversed more thoroughly as Yellow Diamond, Blue Diamond, and Steven join together, but the effect immediately goes away as soon as they let go of her. It then becomes clear they're going to need White Diamond to make any more progress.
** Steven is reassured when Pink Diamond's ship is welcomed by an entourage of cheering Homeworld Gems. Maybe it means that White Diamond will listen to reason and there will be no more fighting! But then White Pearl spirits him off, and White Diamond teleports him to a mysterious room.
* HorrifyingTheHorror: As intimidating as Blue and Yellow can be, they are ''terrified'' of White.
* HumanoidAbomination: Pearl affirms that White Diamond is fundamentally different than other Gems, even Yellow and Blue. Given how she seems to be made out of light, even more than the usual Gem HardLight, glowing so brightly that it's hard to make her features (to the point that her head looks almost like it's two-dimensional from some angles), stands as still as a statue with her arms outstretched (something her Pearl shares) and speaks in DissonantSerenity the entire time we see her, it's not hard to see why Pearl would say that. Her body's even drawn more like a background object than a character.
* ICantBelieveImSayingThis: Before Connie heads off with Steven to Homeworld, her mother asks her if she has her sword, adding she can't believe she's actually asking Connie that.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Nephrite laments failing to heed her Hessonite's orders, but lauds Yellow and Blue for succeeding in [[LockedOutOfTheLoop destroying Rose Quartz]]. This causes them to recoil from touching her in anguish, and she immediately reverts to her corrupted form.
* InstantlyProvenWrong: After repairing Nephrite's physical form, Yellow Diamond says, "There. Good as new." Then Nephrite squeaks and wiggles like she did in her corrupted form.
* InternalReveal: The Diamonds find out the Gems on Earth were corrupted, not destroyed.
* JawDrop: Centipeetle does this when she sees Blue and Yellow.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Though she kind of brought it upon herself, Yellow has every right to be mad at Pink for [[FakingTheDead faking her death]] and causing her and Blue to grieve for ''millennia''. She is also correct that the Diamonds and Steven can't hold onto Centipeetle forever to keep her uncorrupted, especially when there are hundreds of Corrupted Gems like Centi.
* LightIsNotGood: White Diamond ''glows'', and she seems to be eerily calm compared to Yellow and Blue.
* LikeParentLikeChild: When Steven gets a running start with Pink Diamond's ship, he very awkwardly waddles the ship into takeoff. However, based on what Pearl says, his mother's takeoff method was no more graceful.
-->'''Steven:''' I bet when Mom took off it was pretty graceful, huh?\\
'''Pearl:''' Heh. No, not really.
* MadnessMantra: Working together, Yellow and Blue are able to restore Nephrite's body and consciousness, but without Steven's healing spit to bring back her mind, all she does is repeat [[KilledMidSentence "no please no, we're all gonna be..."]]
* {{Malaproper}}: When Garnet leaves Cat Steven in Greg's care, she asks him to "water [her]", like how one would ask someone to water their houseplant.
* MotionCaptureMecha: The Diamonds' ships are shown to have this feature. Though in this case, they only mimic a single body part: Pink's ship mimics her waist and legs, while Yellow and Blue's mimic their arms, and White's is shown to be a head and torso. The four of them would all fit together to make [[CombiningMecha one complete body]].
* NeverMyFault: Yellow Diamond takes no blame for the destruction of the Diamond ships, Gem corruption, and Pink Diamond's disappearance.
-->'''Yellow Diamond:''' Ugh, Pink. How many perfectly adequate Gems did you have us ruin?
* NonAnswer: When everyone is preparing to head to Homeworld, Greg asks Garnet if he should be worried. Her response is [[ExactWords "Steven will be fine"]]. She puts emphasis on Steven's name, makes no mention of the well being of anyone else going along on the trip, and immediately follows the line up with asking Greg to look after Cat Steven.
* NonstandardCharacterDesign:
** White Diamond glows so brightly that most of her face is obscured by light. Unlike the other Diamonds' thicker lines and solid colors, White's body is drawn as if she were part of the background (and none of her is animated except her eyes and mouth), so she looks almost 2-D at some angles and appears almost statue-like. She's also given a much higher level of detail than anyone else on the show, including toenails and diamond-shaped glints on her lips.
** White Pearl floats around while staying in the same position, has a crack going through where an eye should be into her ''hair'', and is colored in shades of gray, in contrast with every other character. She, unlike all the other Pearls seen so far, also breaks the tradition of Gem types having the same voice actors by having a different voice, sharing a voice actor with her mistress.
* NoOntologicalInertia: Without White, the Corruption effect returns immediately after Steven and Blue and Yellow remove their hands from Centipeetle.
* NotNowKiddo: White Diamond welcomes Steven/Pink back by congratulating him on "getting that out of his system" and sending him to Pink's room, all without letting him speak more than a few words at a time.
* OcularGushers: The Crystal Gems cry these as Blue Diamond cries.
* OffModel: Due to this episode being animated by the studio Rough Draft Korea, Yellow Diamond's sclera repeatedly changes back and forth from white to yellow, once even within the very same shot.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness:
** The fact that the Diamonds are actually listening to Steven about Pink, when before they were established as being too wrapped in their grief to be reasonable, shows how important finding out the truth was to them.
** Likewise, Bismuth of all people telling Garnet that the Diamonds wouldn't hurt Steven since they are clearly shellshocked to learn that Pink is somehow (technically) still alive shows a lot of growth from her previous desire to see the Diamond Authority shattered. The stakes really have been raised.
** Yellow Diamond is ''[[HorrifyingTheHorror scared]]'' of White's temper.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Implied with White Diamond. It's been stated that she hasn't left Homeworld for thousands of years, but it's currently unknown if this includes her ship or not.
* ParentsKnowTheirChildren: White Diamond somehow instantly recognizes Steven as "Pink Diamond".
* PowerGlows:
** Blue Diamond's healing method involves transferring a glow from her gem to her hands onto the affliction.
** White Diamond's entire body is shown to glow an ethereal white, so much so that her gem is not even visible.
* RealityEnsues:
** While initially happy to discover that “Pink” is alive. Yellow also becomes upset with “Pink” for hiding her survival for thousands of years and causing both her and Blue untold amounts of grief.
** Given what we've seen of Gem loyalty to the Diamonds in the past, it shouldn't come as a surprise that (despite what was theorised in "Monster Reunion") Nephrite is still ''very much loyal'' to Yellow and Blue Diamond.
** Yellow Diamond also points out that they can't hold onto Centipeetle forever to keep her uncorrupted. It's not practical, and there are ''hundreds'' of these Gems.
** Just because Bismuth has accepted that she shouldn't shatter the Diamonds doesn't mean she agrees with the idea of working with them, so she decides to stay behind on Earth (well, that and she needs to looks after Lapis and Peridot while they haven't yet reformed).
** Blue and Yellow may accept Steven as Pink, but they are still [[BadBoss Bad Bosses]] who treat their subjects pretty badly. After learning what their blast really did to the Gems on Earth, the only things they regret are that they left [[MoralityPet Pink]] surrounded by savage beasts, and that they needlessly ruined many otherwise loyal and useful soldiers.
** Blue and Yellow’s [[ThisIsGonnaSuck attitude]] towards explaining the situation to White is extremely justified. After all, they basically started a civil war, lost an entire colony, created a false martyr, and mutated an entire planet’s worth of loyal Gems into horrific monsters (not to mention destroying two of their own personal warships and losing control of the Cluster). All of which was over absolutely nothing. Taking everything into consideration, White has every right to be furious with the other Diamonds.
* RetCanon: Centipeetle/Nephrite mentions her commanding officer is a Hessonite, a Gem featured prominently in ''VideoGame/SaveTheLight''.
* RightBehindMe: When the Diamonds and Steven restore Nephrite's body, emotions, and mind, her first real words are an apology to the Diamonds before her that she didn't heed orders and evacuate, but she's overjoyed that since Blue and Yellow are here, that must mean everything turned out alright, that they must have defeated [[ActuallyIAmHim Rose Quartz and avenged Pink Diamond]], completely unaware that Steven/"Rose"/"Pink" is standing right behind her. Yellow and Blue, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone realizing the gravity of the situation]], flinch away from Centipeetle, and without their touch, she reverts back into monster form quickly.
* RightfulKingReturns: The leg ship is greeted with an enormous crowd of Homeworld Gems cheering and applauding their return.
* ShaggyDogStory: After discovering the truth about Pink Diamond and the corrupt gems, Yellow Diamond says that "the last 6,000 years are now the biggest galactic embarrassment that's ever happened".
* ShaggySearchTechnique: Steven activates the leg ship by placing his hand on and leaning against one of the pink "pyramids".
* ShatteredWorld: We get our first aerial shot of Homeworld, and it is ''in pieces''.
* ShownTheirWork: Rather than state a cut in her serial number, Nephrite states a cabochon number instead, which is what her polished but unfaceted gemstone is.
* TheShutIn: White Diamond hasn't left Homeworld in ''eons''.
* SlouchOfVillainy: Though she isn't exactly a villain anymore, while aboard the leg ship, Yellow Diamond sits leaning back into her chair with legs crossed, resting her chin on one hand.
* SmashToBlack: The episode's CliffHanger doesn't only lack an IrisOut, it's accompanied by a discordant soundtrack sting that's downright jarring. The version of the episode posted on the Cartoon Network US website and app goes straight to the credits, which are normally separated from the episode's content by a commercial break (which comes in after the credits here).
* SleepCute: Connie and Amethyst fall asleep while leaning against a sitting Garnet. Presumably, Connie was tired from the length of the trip, while Amethyst was just bored. Once they arrive, Connie is awaken by the sound of the landing, and Amethyst [[AmusingInjuries bangs her head on the ground when Garnet stands up]].
* SoProudOfYou: If anything, White seems more ''proud'' of Pink for her actions than furious.
* {{Squick}}: InUniverse, Blue and Yellow Diamond find Corruption to be this.
* StaticElectricity: Yellow's method of healing has her rubbing her hands together and generating electricity between them.
* TearsOfJoy: Blue Diamond cries these as she cuddles her long-lost "Pink Diamond" in her hands. Her emotion powers cause the rest of the Crystal Gems (sans Connie) to cry these as well. She later does this again when Steven flies the ship.
* TheyJustDontGetIt: While Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond comprehend that Steven has no memory of being Pink Diamond, they still call him "Pink" and expect him to know things that Pink knew because they have a hard time comprehending the concept.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: Blue and Yellow Diamond's attitude about going to Homeworld and meeting White Diamond. They mention that she has a temper.
* TookALevelInKindness: At least now that they know Steven is Pink Diamond, Yellow and Blue are much more reasonable. They try to heal Centipeetle at his request, and tell him the only way to heal the Corrupted Gems permanently is to ask White Diamond for help. Even though Blue and Yellow are terrified of White and what she'll do to all of them for their "embarrassment", they agree with Steven to go to Homeworld to attempt to reason with White. This is a vast improvement.
* UncannyValley: White Pearl appears to fall into this in-universe, judging by how Pearl and Garnet initially grimace and flinch away when seeing her. Even Yellow and Blue seem disturbed by her.
* UndyingLoyalty: Even when corrupted, Centipeedle recognizes Yellow and Blue and is stunned to see them again.
* WhamEpisode: Corruption ''can be healed by all four of the Diamonds themselves'', the main Crystal Gems leave the Earth by taking Pink Diamond's ship to Homeworld, and finally, Steven meets '''''White Diamond'''''.
* WhamLine:
** While the Diamonds are all discussing the possibility of curing Centipeetle completely...
--->'''Yellow:''' We can only do so much! If it was the four of us...\\
'''Blue:''' Oh no... ''we CAN'T let her see this!''\\
'''Steven:''' WHO!? WHO DO WE NEED!?\\
'''Yellow:''' What do you mean "who"? [[TheGhost White!]]
** A smaller one, but Pearl explaining White to Steven gives us a very frightening hint as to what Steven's potentially putting himself up against.
--->'''Pearl:''' Steven, White Diamond isn't like us... [[HumanoidAbomination she isn't even like]] ''[[HumanoidAbomination them]]!'' ''[gestures to Yellow and Blue]''
* WhamShot: Homeworld looks like it was torn apart; to clarify, the planet is split into pieces.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Blue and Yellow's Pearls' whereabouts continue to remain unknown.
* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: This was the original purpose of the Corruption Beam, to wipe out all the Gems on Earth in one blow. For some reason, it Corrupted most of them instead, except for the handful that Rose saved or were otherwise protected.
* WingdingEyes: Steven goes starry-eyed when Nephrite is (temporarily) uncorrupted.
* YankTheDogsChain: Steven, Yellow, and Blue are able to cure Centipeetle of her corruption together and return her to her original Nephrite form, including healing her mind. But as soon as they stop touching her she reverts back to her corrupted form.

* CallBack:
* ContinuityNod:
* EasilyForgiven:
* FailedASpotCheck:
* HopeSpot:
* NonstandardCharacterDesign:
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness:
* PowerGlows:
** Blue Diamond's healing method involves transferring a glow from her gem to her hands onto the affliction.
** White Diamond's entire body is shown to glow an ethereal white, so much so that her gem is not even visible.
* RealityEnsues:
* WhamLine:

* CallBack:
* ContinuityNod:
* EasilyForgiven:
* FailedASpotCheck:
* HopeSpot:
* NonstandardCharacterDesign:
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness:
* PowerGlows:
** Blue Diamond's healing method involves transferring a glow from her gem to her hands onto the affliction.
** White Diamond's entire body is shown to glow an ethereal white, so much so that her gem is not even visible.
* RealityEnsues:
* WhamLine:

* CassandraTruth: Even after Steven explains who he is to Yellow and Blue, they're still under the assumption he's Pink Diamond and continue addressing him as "Pink", though it's likely that they just prefer to address him that way because of how much they loved Pink, and, at least in Yellow's case, a hope that he'll recover some of her memories eventually.

** The phrase "[Object] from here to [faraway location]]" can also be used to express a surplus. Steven demonstrates Gem Corruption by introducing Yellow and Blue to the Centipeetle, who has many, many legs in her corrupt form.

* DoubleMeaningTitle: The Diamonds and the Crystal Gems recover Pink Diamond's personal starship, which follows the body-part theme by being a pair of legs. They fly this ship back to Homeworld. This also references a common phrase "legs from here to [faraway location]", which refers to a person with long, attractive legs, in this case being the ridiculously tall White Diamond.

All Your Powers Combined is when one person has the combined powers of several others.

* AllYourPowersCombined: It is established that all of the Diamonds have healing powers. Yellow was able to return Centipeetle to her pre-corrupted form, Blue was able to return her to the last moments before she was corrupted (hence the MadnessMantra) and Steven was able to heal her mind entirely, but it is established that only with all four Diamonds would they be able to make the healing process permanent.

** Blue and Yellow’s [[ThisIsGonnaSuck attitude]] towards explaining the situation to White is extremely justified. From Homeworld’s perspective, their leaders: started a civil war, lost an entire colony, created a false martyr, and mutated an entire planet’s worth of loyal Gems into monsters (not to mention the other things they did during their 6000 years of “grief”). No wonder Blue and Yellow are apprehensive, by all means, White has every right to be furious.

From Homeworld’s perspective, their leaders: After all, they basically started a civil war, lost an entire colony, created a false martyr, and mutated an entire planet’s worth of loyal Gems into horrific monsters (not to mention the other things they did during destroying two of their 6000 years of “grief”). No wonder Blue own personal warships and Yellow are apprehensive, by all means, losing control of the Cluster). All of which was over absolutely nothing. Taking everything into consideration, White has every right to be furious.furious with the other Diamonds.

** Yellow and Blue’s [[ThisIsGonnaSuck attitude]] towards speaking with White is extremely justified. From Homeworld’s perspective, their leaders: started a civil war, lost an entire colony, created a false martyr, neglected their citizens, and mutated an entire planet’s worth of loyal Gems into horrific monsters (not to mention wasting a number of resources on an enemy that didn’t exist). Calling the entire Gem War a “galactic embarrassment” is a massive understatement. No wonder Blue and Yellow are apprehensive, White has every right to be furious.
