->Meggy pushes Mario, Tari and Luigi to their limits as she puts them through intense, VideoGame/splatoon style training.
In preparation for the Splatfest competition, Meggy forces Mario, Luigi and Tari through rigorous training. Will they succeed, or fail utterly? And how far is Meggy willing to go to ensure her success? Part five of the Anime Arc, focusing on Meggy and the Splatfest.

Upload Date: 13th April 2019
----
* ArmorPiercingResponse: An interesting variant. When Meggy starts lashing out at everyone for their terrible performances, Tari has a feeble and simple response -- but it works in provoking a response from Meggy that, in turn, makes Meggy realize with horror that she's being way too hard on her friends.
-->Meggy: Come on! We need to train, you guys aren't even trying!\\
Tari: Meggy...we are trying...\\
Meggy: Well you aren't trying hard enough!
* BreakTheHaughty: Meggy may have been a jerk during the training, but you can't help but feel bad for her when she breaks down crying.
* TheBusCameBack: After nearly 10 months without making so much as a cameo, Desti makes her grand return at the end of the blooper. Desti herself even lampshades this, saying it's been awhile.
* ControlFreak: Meggy's obsession with winning causes her to disapprove of her teammates' failures, despite how they were either unwilling to train or were doing the best they could. She even bribes Mario with a lunch break, only to force him to do even more training. This results in an argument and Meggy's HeelRealisation.
* CripplingOverspecialization: Tari more or less admits to this when Meggy admonishes her for a really poor attempt at target practice.
-->Meggy: WHAT WAS THAT, TARI?! I saw you shoot really well at the carnival!\\
Tari: Uhh, well I'm only good at games and this is more of a sport...I'm really bad at sports...
* DrillSergeantNasty: Meggy puts Mario, Luigi, and Tari through TrainingFromHell, due to her obsession with winning the Splatfest. She drops it after realizing how awful she is being to her friends, taking on a more supportive role instead.
* HeroicBSOD: After the realization that she's pushing her friends away for the sake of the competition, Meggy leaves them. When they catch up with her and Mario gets her to open up, she admits her fear of driving her friends away for the sake of the Splatfest and feeling like she's losing sight of the person she is, and breaks down in tears. Thankfully, Meggy's friends snap her out of it.
* HumanShield: Luigi uses Sheldon as one when trying to defend himself against an ink barrage from Mario .
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: After Meggy tells her friends that they aren't trying hard enough, her face soon fills with regret before she leaves.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness:
** Meggy, after realizing that she was driving her friends away, leaves them behind. When Mario catches up to her sitting on the rooftop, she finally admits her self-confidence issues stemming from her constant losses in previous Splatfests, that she feels like a big disappointment and how she feels like she's losing her sense of who she is, before breaking down in tears in front of everyone.
** Mario, notable for being insensitive and selfish most of the time, is worried when Meggy leaves in disappointment and follows her to the rooftop. Mario talks to his MoralityPet in the most sincere and understanding way he can, and even offers her spaghetti to eat (which he is normally overprotective and sexually obsessed with).
* TearsOfRemorse: Ink-like tears, at that.
* YankTheDogsChain: After a successful training session, Desti immediately appears to steal Meggy's weapons.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: Mario, Luigi, and Tari reassure Meggy that they are still her friends when she feels guilty for pushing them too hard.
