I don't think the astronauts were unjustified in kicking Mordecai and Rigby out. Not only did they lie about being astronauts, but they caused the meltdown in the first place. Also they probably saw a bunch of stuff that would normally require security clearance that they didn't have. If anything Mordecai and Rigby got off easy, like they could've been arrested for their actions. Keeping this trope since they're ungrateful from Rigby's perspective.
