At first when Candace sees the boys in the parade, she ignores at first, but when she sees the parade again her obsession begins to surface and tries to get around the curse by getting Linda to see it herself but to no avail. Eventually, Candace cannot take it anymore and forces Linda to see the boys, only to realize the floats are gone as usual, and a guy dressed as a Pharaoh "curses" her prompting Linda to say, "I tried to warn you, honey."
