* PlotHole: Ladybug is shocked to realize that Truth is actually Luka during their fight despite that she was present when he was akumatized.

** His power can only stop the heroes from using their own powers as long as the name of said power is not a honest answer to a question. Cat Noir allows Ladybug to use Lucky Charm by asking a question with that as the answer.

** No one can see the kwamis over Marinette's webcam, just as they could not be photographed, filmed, or seen by robots in previous episodes.
** Trixx tells Daizzi that Alya is "taken" as a kwami's owner, as she's Rena Rouge.
** Cat Noir uses his Cataclysm on Light Eye, which hurts it but doesn't destroy it. Lady Noir had the same problem using Cataclysm on a sentimonster in [[Recap/MiraculousLadybugS03E05Reflekdoll "Reflekdoll"]], only this time it's intentionally exploited.
** Once again, Luka is akumatized because he cares about Marinette's well-being.

* DivingSave: Cat intercepts Ladybug's almost-reveal by tackling her into a fountain.

* StatusQuoIsGod: Marinette breaks up with Luka right at the start of the season, after hooking up with him at the end of the previous one.

* OffscreenVillainDarkMatter: Gabriel has access to a supply of meteorite powder, a pot of molten gold and a peacock feather to brew his Miraculous repair potion.

** Daizzi is interested in making Alya his Miraculous user, but Trixx points out that she's already taken. This hints both at Rena Rogue soon returning despite Hawk Moth learning her identity, and at Daizzi getting a chance to shine later in the season.

* CannotTellALie: Anyone Truth hits with his eye beam becomes incapable of lying and is compelled to answer any question posed to them.

* FusionDance: Gabriel has apparently learned how to unify Miraculous after seeing Cat Noir do it in [[Recap/MiraculousLadybugS03E26MiracleQueenBattleoftheMiraculousPart2 "Miracle Queen"]], which he uses to fuse his newly-repaired Peacock Miraculous with the Butterfly to become Shadow Moth.

** Just because what people are saying is true, that doesn't mean it's the particular truth that he wants. When he asks others about Marinette's secret, he gets her crush on Adrien--which isn't the secret he ''wants'', but still counts because she hasn't yet told Adrien himself, and they all assume Marinette to be an honest person otherwise.
** People under Truth's power can't tell him what they don't know. None of Marinette's friends know she's Ladybug, so none of them could ever possibly reveal it even when magically forced to answer any question truthfully.

* MoodWhiplash: Truth forces Jagged Stone to explain why he abandoned Luka, Jagged Stone tells him that he was sure he could not be a proper father...and then adds on that this had the side effect of inspiring his "My guitar is my only family" song that he's clearly proud of. Truth reacts expectedly poorly to this and throws him.

* OntologicalInertia: Despite the Peacock Miraculous being fixed, the damage it inflicted to Emilie and Nathalie's bodies remains since Emilie is still in her coma and Nathalie is bedridden.

Truth doesn't consider it a good enough reason, tossing Jagged off the roof. They reconcile after Luka is de-akumatized.

* OpenSecret: Every time Truth asks others for Marinette's secret, they answer that she loves Adrien. As he lampshades, that's painfully obvious to everyone but Adrien.

* DontSneakUpOnMeLikeThat: Before they defeat Mr. Pigeon, Chat Noir decides to prank Ladybug by sneaking behind her back. It backfires as she instinctively grabs his arm and shoulder-throws him off the building before realizing her mistake and grabbing him with her yo-yo.

** First, anyone affected by his powers must answer questions honestly, but it doesn't have to be ''his'' questions. Chat Noir is able to keep him from revealing Ladybug's secret by cutting him off every time he tries to ask something.
