When Charles performs a near-miraculous resuscitation on a wounded patient, it catches the attention of Captain Greenleigh, a reporter from Stars and Stripes, and Winchester is only to happy to preen and primp for the press, much to Hawkeye's disgust. Meanwhile, Margaret is in the doldrums as her divorce from Donald drags on--but she also catches Greenleigh's eye. He doesn't, however, have time for Klinger, who typically sees the reporter as an opportunity to play up his Section 8-related antics.

*DidYouJustHaveSex: Potter seems to have this reaction as he does a silent DoubleTake after seeing an unusually chipper Margaret.
*DoggedNiceGuy: Greenleigh persistently pursues Margaret, despite being shot down multiple times. But when Margaret tells him she's not ready to be tied down yet, he reluctantly respects her wishes.
*IgnoredEpiphany: Charles is crestfallen over freezing up in OR when Martinez needed to be resuscitated. But when Hawkeye and BJ compliment him on saving the patient, his ego returns to its usual swelled size.
*MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Charles' reaction when he realizes Martinez's internal bleeding is due to an improperly administered suture that he affixed.
*ShoutOut: Klinger's costumes include Dorothy from ''Film/TheWizardOfOz'' and Creator/BetteDavis in her role in ''Film/BeyondTheForest'', delivering her immortal line, "What a dump!"
*TookALevelInJerkass: Charles gets so drunk on his own ego that he tries to stop his patient from telling Greenleigh the story of how he was wounded, worried that it will upstage him in Greenleigh's article. He also ignores Martinez's internal bleeding until it gets so bad Hawkeye has to perform surgery on him again.
*WhatHappenedToTheMouse: After Winchester tears up Greenleigh's story about him, the reporter decides to do a photoshoot with Klinger in desperation for a story. It apparently never got published or didn't have much effect, as it's never mentioned afterward and [[StatusQuoIsGod another of Klinger's efforts to get discharged remains fruitless.]]
