Lindsay and her family would encourage her to take breaks and interact with other people, which allow her to find people who know the kind of indecisiveness she's experiencing with her future. She comes to learn of the ramifications her acts of revenge led to and due to Gavin's intervention, she concludes that she's not ready to develop any romantic relationships until she sorts her issues out.
