* WistfulAmnesia: Though the timeline is rewritten so that Zari is breplaced by her brother, Nate has a heartbroken expression and a sense that something is missing as he adjusts to his resurrection, confused that he's hugging Behrad.

* BadBadActing: While posing as Supergirl for the Hey World commercial, Sara can't get through her lines without laughing.

** Surprisingly averted with "Crisis on Infinite Earths"; despite the Monitor making a cameo there's no tease for the crossover, although his presence makes it clear that he has his eye on the Legends.

* ChekhovsBoomerang: Brigid's diary turns out to be the key to defeat Neron in this episode, as it's used to create Hey World.
* ChekhovsGun: John establishes early on that he can glamour himself to look like someone else. The climax is dependent on him and Nate doing this to switch places and trick Neron into breaking his deal.

** Young/Present Day Zari gets this, defending Sara when Tabitha sics a dragon on her. Which turns out to be the same dragon she befriended. He promptly turns on Tabitha and devours her.

** Once again, "Sweet Baby James" by James Taylor, initiated by Hank Heywood, saves the day.

They outright mention they weren't in this year's crossover, and during the show they utter the phrase "don't call (them) heroes" which was the catchphrase of the intro during season 2.
