After a woman with a short fuse (Creator/RosiePerez) makes a shocking discovery about her son (Creator/CruzSantiago) and his behavior at school, she takes him to the doctor and finds out that he has been the victim of sexual abuse. Detectives Benson and Stabler come onto the scene and question the victim and his family. From the boy's frightened reaction when his stepfather (Creator/JimTrueFrost) silences the investigation, it is clear to everyone in the room who the real perpetrator is. As Benson and Stabler are about to arrest the suspect, he agrees to give up the leader (Creator/GarretDillahunt) of the largest pro child-adult relationship civil rights group in exchange for a plea bargain from ADA Alex Cabot, who returns from Albany.
