After an assassination attempt on Roland Books, the controversial leader of the African American Congress, Briscoe and Curtis look into Huey Tate, the son of Roland Book's murdered predecessor Marcus Tate. Huey's friend Angela Roney (Creator/MichelleHurd) has recorded a conversation where Huey admits he wants to kill Books. However, the prosecutor's case falls apart when they learn Angela was a paid information for the FBI.
