* FriendOrIdolDecision: Bordering on SadisticChoice. Near the end, Hank gives Peggy and Bobby two steaks, one cooked with charcoal and other with propane. He then asks which tastes better, before reinstating the question, "What's it going to be, charcoal or me?" with the implication that he'll leave Peggy and Bobby if they choose charcoal. In the end, they say the propane tastes better, but they still secretly eat charcoal cooked meat only this time, outside the house and out of Hank's view.

** Before then, Hank has one when he points out Lenore is only interested in Bill again because of his newfound famous connection:
--> Lenore showed up because you're on top of the world with the former Governor of Texas. Ask yourself this: Where was she when [[NoodleIncident you couldn't stop eating out of that garbage can?]]
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Lenore only comes back to see Bill to deliberately drive him crazy and, seemingly, end his relationship with Ann Richards simply to see him suffer. A good example when he asks her to remarry him- she turns him down, even after revealing he split up with Ann, because she doesn't want to risk the long-distance relationship, and doesn't even bother to reveal exactly where she lives now. But the instant Ann shows up and Bill gets in her limo, she immediately tries to wrap herself in his arms and all but acts like she just said yes to him.
