* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Even though Bill told Hank he doesn't have to pay for the haircut he gave him, Hank still wants to pay for it which is how he got the $900 bill for it. After making the complaint to the government, Bill is out of the job as Dale calls Hank out for it.

* StronglyWordedLetter: Hank is charged a ludicrous amount for a haircut by the US Army, and gets fed up to the point that he stands and declares that he is going to write to his Congressman. Naturally, he doesn't even know how to turn on the computer and writes his letter out by hand. Subverted, when it's revealed that the Congressman obviously never even read Hank's letter.

Naturally, he doesn't even know how to turn on the computer and writes his letter out by hand. Subverted, when it's revealed that Initially it seems like the Congressman obviously congressman never even read Hank's letter.letter based on the generic response he receives, but shortly afterwards Hank is awared a whistleblower award and a check worth 3900 dollars for exposing how much money the army wastes on haircuts.
* TakeTheThirdOption: After the army base's barbershop is shut down by the congressman, Bill loses his job and is reassigned to other duties, and Hank and the soldiers and the officers serving in the army base need to get their haircuts from civilian barbers, all of which are unhappy with the results. One of the officers tells Bill that they have an appeal pending to get the barbershop reinstated, but chances are [[ObstructiveBureaucrat it'll take them at least 20 years]] for it to happen. Instead of settling for those options, Hank and Dale go to the army auction where they're selling the barbershop items, buy all of them with the money Hank got from accidentally exposing them, set up a makeshift barbershop behind a curtain in the army base's arcade and reassign Bill as an army technican who's the only one qualified to do maintenance on the arcade machines as a way to unofficially give him his old job back.

* FromBadToWorse: The last we see of Jack he randomly assaults someone and steals their bicycle. Bill later stops by Hank's house to say he's sorry about what happened with Jack. Hank thinks Bill's referring to his bad hair cut. Bill clarifies he meant ''the high speed police chase that was on the news''.

* SanitySlippage: Something's clearly going on with Jack the barber. It's either senility setting in or he's having a nervous breakdown, but either way the last we see of Jack is him randomly assaulting someone for their bicycle. And then Bill mentions "the high speed chase."

* NoodleIncident: After Jack stole that bicycle and rode off, ''something'' apparently happened that led to a high speed chase involving a bunch of police cars. Bill apparently saw it on the evening news.
