* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Mark has done an okay job of handling some one-on-one fights, but he's shocked and horrified at the sight of what an actual battle is like, complete with blood, gore, and plenty of innocent casualties. At the first Flaxan attack, he's completely mentally unprepared, scared, and freezes in the middle of the action while chaos erupts around him, and being a superhero does nothing to help him deal with it. Atom Eve kindly tells Mark that freezing up before a battle is entirely natural. She says that your fight-or-flight reaction kicks in, especially if you are human. Eve reassures him that the longer he participates in battle, the easier it gets.
