** Inside the episode : To justify doing their job as assassins, especially when dealing with targets in a family, Loona and Millie remind Moxxie that not all families are completely innocent and guess what terrible things they could be committing in secret. While Martha's family doesn't exactly do any of that, their [[CannibalClan cannibalistic nature]] more than justify the girls' claim and allows Moxxie to kill the target.

* NotHelpingYourCase: Having realized she had killed her cheating husband and another woman while her students were watching from their school's computer, she expresses severe guilt and kills herself. Unfortunately, she [[DidntThinkThisThrough never considered shutting off the camera at any point]], resulting in her suicide further traumatizing them.

** Ironically, ''Martha's family'' is the one defending themselves, and Millie concludes this relieves them of any guilt. Mayberry notices how messed up that sounds. She quickly gets over it because she was the one who hired them to kill the woman in the first place.

* DownerEnding: From Moxxie's perspective; Rather than killing Martha's husband and children, he calls the police on them so they'll have a chance to change for the better. Unfortunately, [[HeelFaceDoorSlam they simply decide to blow up the house with the family still inside]], and Moxxie spends the episode's closing moments [[ThousandYardStare staring off into space in traumatized silence]].

** Our villains of the episodes is a thighly-knit TheFamilyThatSlaysTogether, who are found of HumanResources, much like the Sawyers from ''Film/TheTexasChainSawMassacre1974''.

* CerebusRetcon: Moxxie preventing Blitzo from killing Martha in front of her children, and then seemingly having difficulty breathing [[spoiler: may possibly be a PTSD-induced panic attack, since we learn in Season 2 Episode 3 that Moxxie's mother was killed by his father.

** At the scale of the show :
*** Moxxie expressing his disagreement to kill the fathers of families, except if they are AbusiveParent or from a mafia family. Those exceptions are already understandable without knowing Moxxie's backstory. [[spoiler: But it takes a whole new meaning when Season 2 Episode 3 reveals he is a former abused child, who tried to cut off his life his father, who is a mafia boss.]]
*** And also Moxxie downright preventing Blitzo to kill Martha in front of her children. Again, an understandable moral objection in itself. [[spoiler: But a TearJerker when the same S2E3 reveals that not only Moxxie's father killed his mother when she tried to stand against him, and that he brought Moxxie to the lake he murdered her and disposed of her body. But it get even worse when you also see that Moxxie was forced to participate to an assassination at the very same spot.]] Moxxie having difficulties to breath immediatly afterward may also be [[spoiler: a PSTD-linked panic attack]].

* CerebusRetcon: See Foreshadowing after. Moxxie preventing Blitzo to kill Martha in front of her children, and then seemingly having difficulties to breath [[spoiler: may possibly be a PTSD-induced panic attack, since we learn in Season 2 Episode 3 that not only Moxxie's mother was killed by his father, but that there is also a strong possibility that Moxxie was forced to participate to the assassination]].
