!The Many Lives of Cats

Dante takes a leave of absence with the crew and place his cats under the care of Sen in order to investigate a specific matter on Micenos Island.

While taking a walk, Sen finds herself swarmed by a large amount of stray cats and forcefully locked in a room along with Dante's cats.

!!Tropes
* AirVentPassageway: Subverted. Despite finding an exit small enough for the cats to escape, Sen renders the escape route useless after throwing the matatabi stick in there.
* CrazyCatLady: The hobbled old lady, AKA Torajiro's owner, kept too many cats that the town drove her out due to health and noise concerns.
* DefectorFromDecadence: The Young Cat eventually gets tired of following Torajiro's rules and decides to help Sen and the others to break out after being moved by their dedication and interest on the concept of freedom.
* HighOnCatnip: In place of catnip is the East Asian equivalent of it, the matatabi. One whiff from a stick of it enough for a cat to act like "someone who's been out for a night of drinks".
* NominalImportance: The majority of the cats are only referred to by descriptive names due to their status as Torajiro's underling. The Young Cat is referred to as such until he joins the crew, which they decide to give him a name so he won't be left out.
* PoorCommunicationKills: The cats can hear what the humanoid characters say, but not the other way around. One example is the hobbled old lady assuming Torajiro wants to break free, which Torajiro himself says otherwise.
* SpannerInTheWorks: As Sen is an Erune and not a cat, she's able to throw off much of the traps being thrown at her, up until they have to face off against the Sinister Snake.
* TranslationConvention: The cats are given human speech for story convenience and can converse with one another. The more humanoid characters like Sen can only hear it as cat noises.
