Based on ''Literature/DontGoToSleep'', book #54 of the original ''Literature/{{Goosebumps}}'' series.

Matt Amsterdam wants to move into his house's larger guest bedroom, but his parents won't let him. One night though, he sleeps there anyway... and starts waking up in different worlds as a result.

!!The episode provides examples of:

* AdaptedOut: Lacie is not in the episode.
* AdaptationDistillation: Matt only goes to four realities in the episode.
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Matt is unhappy that he doesn't get to have the freedom that his older siblings have, expressing a desire to be older. His trip into other realities allows him to be an adult, but it's situations he isn't ready for: ace hockey player, brain surgeon, bomb disposal and a groom-to-be.
* DisproportionateRetribution: In the episode, Matt is taken to court by the [[spoiler: Reality Police and ''put on trial'' simply because '''he said his reality sucked''']]. It doesn't help that [[spoiler: [[HereWeGoAgain he's ''once again'' forced to endure it]] simply because he said his reality was '''boring''']].
* IWantMyMommy: At the hockey rink, while he is undergoing pressure from the game, Matt goes to a player and says that he wants his mother. The coach overheard him and is incredulous that he wants his mommy, and one of the Reality Police mocks Matt for it.
* JudicialWig: A judge wearing a long, curly, and powdered wig pronounces Matt guilty of crimes against reality.
* MythologyGag: A kid is seen holding a comic called "Creatures from the Muck", the comic Clark was reading in ''Literature/HowToKillAMonster''. This is especially interesting given the comic was not featured in the TV episode.
* NamedByTheAdaptation: Matt's mother is credited as "Laura Amsterdam", while she had no first name in the book.
* SameStoryDifferentNames: This episode greatly switched up the book's elements: Matt going to sleep in the attic, remaining a kid in the realities he ends up in and then being put on trial.
* ShoutOut: The Reality Police are modeled after Film/MenInBlack. They're even credited as such!
