* FallFromGrace: Plato goes from being a total chick magnet to a public disgrace, after failing to take care of The Weasel.

** Garfield wished for lasagna, and the Fairy Godfather gave him ''stolen'' lasagna. Then Garfield wishes for money without thinking the Fairy Godfather might just steal it again, so this time the Godfather gives him a ''stolen'' bag from the bank containing $43,511.33. Garfield gets a short time in jail.

* ShoutOut: The Fairy Godfather is a visible re-drawing of Marlon Brando's character from ''Film/TheGodfather'' complete with the nasal voice.

* AscendedExtra: Plato had a minor cameo in the prior [=US Acres=] cartoon ("The Bunny Rabbits Is Coming"). He's ascended to the role of main antagonist in this cartoon.

* InsufferableGenius: Plato may be well read and sophisticated, but he's also a condescending jerk.

During the special live television of the spaceship that is about to land on the moon, Odie notice that the first space cat looks like Garfield in which he tells him of his great-uncle Buchanan, the first cat in space. However unlikely Garfield's assuming he's a heroic cat, it turns out that Buchanan is a cowardly cat who refuse to get on the spaceship worrying his safety. During launch time, Buchanan escaped but accidentally ended up inside the space shuttle while pressing the launch button ( wrongly assuming it is the 'lunch' button) sending the cat into space. Odie doesn't believe Garfield until they sees the moon landing where a group of astronauts were greeted by Buchanan and an alien waiting for their pizza.

* BrickJoke: After he is launched into space, Buchanan sends a message askng for a pizza. When astronauts arrive on the moon at the end of the episode he asks them where the pizza is.

After a failed attempt on stealing food from a lasagna vendor, he discovering a lost copy of "Cinderella" in the park. Once he finish stealing ice-cream, Garfield encounters a Fairy Godfather and was given three wishes. His first wish to have lasagna but unfortunately before he can take a bite, the vendor snatches it calling Garfield a thief. Anger, Garfield yells at the Godfather for stealing it but soon Garfield ask for money and the Godfather gives him a sack of money as Garfield's second wish. But once Garfield decides to put the money inside the bank, the police arrest him for stealing the same amount of money from the bank he's suppose to deposit.

Luckily he was set free since he returns the money. Furious Garfield tells the Godfather to go away but he threaten him to make his last wish. Just then Garfield has an idea and whisper his wish to him; shocking the Godfather. Reluctantly he brings out the Fairy Godmother or his wife. His wife wasn't too happy and drags him away while Garfield decides to return the book to it's rightful owner since it has an address on it. The owner's mom thank Garfield for returning it and reward him with lasagna. Garfield comment is "What do you know? A Happy Ending indeed!"
