It's shaping up to be a delightful day for Eddy, as Ol' Shovel-chin (that's Kevin, by the way) has managed to get himself grounded! As if being stuck indoors isn't humiliating enough, Kevin can only glare and threaten harmlessly from his prison home as Ed and Eddy set themselves up for an afternoon of mischief-style fun tormenting him right outside his bedroom window!

Amidst these shenanigans, Double D comes along with some recycled books. As he lists them off (with Eddy, of course, ignoring him in favor of messing with a certain big-chinned caged rat; and Ed just saying random words), he finds one on diseases, discovering one called "Lack-a-Daisy-Cathro disease." Double D finds out that people who get it have his personality! Initially disinterested, Eddy sees an opportunity for a prank and convinces Double D he needs to see a doctor, and it just so happens that he knows an "expert" on this disease. Enter one Doctor Ed, whom, after subjecting Double D to a series of tests that include wrapping his tongue around an egg beater and eating one of his shoes (with Eddy kicking Double D in the butt a few times just for shiggles), declares that Double D has "til lunch" before he expires.

Sobbing, Double D gathers his possessions and attempts to will them to the kids. Nazz takes pity on him and exposes Eddy's prank. Miraculously cured and more than a little ticked off, Double D confronts the perpetrators, who are yucking it up over having just built a brick wall around an equally ticked Kevin's house. When he yells at them, Eddy tries to call Doctor Ed again, only to find '''KEVIN''' standing next to him, grinning from ear to ear and cracking his knuckles. Apparently, he's been let out early "for good behavior". Ed and Eddy high-tail it back to the latter's house and barricade themselves inside by locking the door, but just as a hopping mad Kevin is about to give up, Double D appears and "carelessly misplaces" a certain three-haired midget's spare house key right at Kevin's feet...
