For example, in those of the Nazi concentration camps or sub-camps not dedicated to quick murder (e.g. Auschwitz-Monowitz or Dora, as opposed to Sobibor and Chelmno) few people lasted two years, much less the apparent decades (local time) at least a few people seem to have spent in the demons' pocket-dimension. This might be down to the demons' having a much smaller pool of potential slave-labourers, and in this wise being more practical than sadistic. (…or those few we see were like trustees/kapos receiving favourable treatment, though there is no diegetic sign of this and it would seem to go against the whole 'you are noöne' push).
