Judy in Disguise (with Glasses) is a real song from 1967 and not an invention of the show.

* AtTheCrossroads: Bob figures out the correct dirt road to turn onto off of the main, paved road, but it eventually splits in three separate directions. It takes him figuring out [[ChekovsGun the aftershave Teddy smelled on the drive in was actually witch hazel]] to know which road to take.

* DidntThinkThisThrough: The kids are so eager to do Beef-hemoth they failed to factor in several elements. Like, how they would flip a burger that big, how much cheese they'd need for it, and what would happen if they didn't have a bun big enough for it.

Bob goes on a rescue mission, when Teddy gets himself trapped in an underground bunker. At the restaurant, the kids and Linda try and make a mammoth burger for a rec-league basketball team.

*ChekhovsBoomerang: Despite only needing one piece of sheet metal to create a false wall in the safe, Teddy brings several, which contributes to him getting trapped in the safe. However, when Gerald comes back and Bob risks getting caught, he is able to use the extra sheet metal to create a ''second'' false wall he can hide behind while an unsuspecting Gerald only thinks to check the original.

* SecretTestOfCharacter: Gerald hired Teddy to work on his kitchen drawers in another house, but the drawers had a sandwich, a piece of cake, and a bunch of cash. Teddy didn't touch any of them, earning enough trust to be hired for the safe job. (Bob is just confused why anyone would eat a sandwich they found sitting in a drawer.)

to:

*ProperlyParanoid: One of Linda's concerns about the Beef-hemoth is that nobody will be able to finish it, resulting in a large amount of wasted food. This turns out to be exactly what happens at the end of the episode; after Bob discovers what happened, he admits this was the reason ''he'' didn't want the kids making it.

!!Tropes:
* BlindfoldedTrip: The client, Gerald, blindfolds Teddy so he won't know where the bunker is located. As he describes the trip to Bob, he gives him clues that help Bob finds it. At the end, after the job is done, Gerald tells Teddy that he can drive back without the blindfold because he trusts him.
* CellPhonesAreUseless: Teddy's phone is low in battery. Bob keeps advising him to save his charge, but Teddy keeps insisting on talking too long and even asking to stay on the line to hear the music Bob downloaded to find him; predictably, the phone goes dead at a crucial point.
* ChekhovsGun: Teddy's description of his BlindfoldedTrip gives Bob a couple of clues to find him.
** As Gerald started driving, he turned on the radio and the song "Judy in Disguise (With Glasses)" played. Teddy remembered that they turned at the part of the song where the singer goes "...with glasses", which gives Bob a clue of how to find the right road.
** Teddy thinks that Gerald put on aftershave in the middle of driving, which he and Bob find odd. When Bob can't figure out which road to take, a man drives by with witch hazel, a common ingredient in aftershave, in his truck. Bob realizes that the witch hazel was what Teddy smelled, and after asking where it came from, gets to the site of the bunker.
* FakeFood: The kids had planned to buy a giant loaf of bread at a local bakery to serve the Beef-hemoth on, but after Tina is sent for it, she returns to inform them that it was a plastic replica for display only. The baker had told her that it wouldn't taste very good... and Tina tasted it anyway.
* GiantFood: The kids convince Linda to make a giant hamburger they call the Beef-hemoth. It takes up the whole grill and needs all four to flip over. They planned to use a giant loaf at a nearby bakery, but that turned out to be a plastic display, so they just serve it on top of a bunch of regular buns.
* LampshadeWearing: One of Teddy's desperate ideas for hiding Bob when Gerald approaches is to put a lampshade over his head.
