[[caption-width-right:1000:One lucky bug.]] Bandit surprises
Bingo and Lila with a backyard water slide. The girls are excited to play on their new waterslide.it, but first they must contend with a bevvy of bugs that keep crawling across the slide. To protect the bugs from getting squished, Bingo and Lila pretend to be bug inspectors: one girl will make sure the slide is free of bugs so that the other can slide safely. But there are just too many bugs, and it seems the girls will never have a chance to play. When Bandit decides to take a turn, the girls must take drastic measures to protect a caterpillar trying to cross the yard. Bandit comes out [[GroinAttack worse for wear]], but the caterpillar is free to continue, eventually finding a safe place to turn first into a chrysalis, then a beautiful butterfly who returns to thank Bingo and Lila in a very special way.

* AnAesop: Compassion may be [[BeingGoodSucks inconvenient]] at times, but sometimes, it can pay off later on down the line. Lila and Bingo would've never been treated to the sight of the butterfly had they not saved it from Bandit.

* GroinAttack: Bingo and Lila's last ditch method of bending the lawn slide that Bandit is using, so that he wouldn't crush a caterpillar that is still on it, leaves him unprepared and unable to stop when he eventually collides with a garden gnome, right at his worst spot.

* DramaticIrony: A rather sweet variation. The caterpillar Bingo and Lila find grows up into a butterfly weeks later. The two are amazed by its presence, unaware that their luck at seeing this beautiful butterfly was all because that little caterpillar was lucky they were kind to it.
