** Stripe has [[DownplayedTrope shades]] of this as well. While he advocates for giving his daughters a time-out if they misbehave, there are moments where he's a touch more lenient than the situation calls for. When he informs Muffin of the terms of her using the tablet for only 5 more minutes, and she responds with a surly "Bah!", he gives a rather lax "[[DeadpanSnarker I'll take that as a yes]]." On one hand, he ''does'' put Muffin in time-out when she pushes her boundaries a bit. But every time the situation calls for ending the call, he balks because the collective girls show dissatisfaction at this choice, though it may be to [[JustifiedTrope avoid punishing the innocent party like Bluey, Bingo and Socks]].

* SpaceWhaleAesop: An un-said varation. The episode revolves around Bluey and Bingo being witness to the perils of hogging. Well, they ''do'' witness Muffin being sent to time-out for her troubles, but it was a long, winding road to get to that point. She ''did'' get sent to time-out the first time she hogged the tablet too much, but then she stole her dad's phone to doodle somewhere, incited a chase scene to keep it, and then eventually dropped it in the pool below. So while Bluey and Bingo can safely say they know what happens when you hog, one can't say this scenario is the natural consequence of hogging.

* TranquilFury: So, Muffin has made a chaotic mess of her parents' day. She rebelled and put up a fuss when he told her it was Sock's turn on the tablet, stole his phone, ran away from him, and disrupted her mother's quiet time in the process. But it all comes to a head when she (if by accident) drops Stripe's phone into the pool below. Staring on at the metaphorical last straw, Stripe and Trixie's only response is a restrained but cross "Muffin? (...) Time out." No raised voices, no edge to their voices, just the heavy implication that she's in hot water. Muffin doesn't even argue at that point.

* TemporarilyExaggeratedTrait: Muffin's BrattyHalfPint tendency is played up in this episode. She hogs the phone from Socks to draw her cowboy hat despite her dad Stripe repeatedly telling her not to. Then she steals Stripe's phone and runs away with it, only to then drop it into the swimming pool.
