Sharon and Tracey's ageing Auntie Sylvie, who had cared for them as teenagers after their parents had died, is in hospital with a broken leg. When the doctors say that she is unlikely to live independently again, Sharon decides to let her live at Dalentrace rather than go into an old folks' home. This ends with Auntie Sylvie proving to be a bit of a handful, leading the girls to rethink and contemplate old age and their futures.
