* AngerBornOfWorry: Lucius finally reveals to Luke that the reason behind his not talking to his son for a while is because he's scared for Luke; while Batwing is a capable fighter, Batman's sidekicks get hurt. A lot. He doesn't want to live knowing that his son will likely die before him.
* BothSidesHaveAPoint: Luke is right in that being Batwing was his decision, and that his father should be mature and let it go that Luke didn't tell him right away.
