No, the creators never stated that the show is in another timeline.

Season 6 was held back until Summer 2019, after Film/AvengersEndgame resolved the events of Film/AvengersInfinityWar, to avoid this show getting tangled up in that story. In addition, the first season of Cloak & Dagger and seven episodes of its second season; the second seasons of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Runaways and Series/2017; the third season of Daredevil; and the films Film/AntManAndTheWasp and Film/2019 (as well as Endgame) were released before Season 6 aired.According to the producers, the show is no longer in the same timeline as the MCU itself, due to not being privy to the Endgame reveals at the time of shooting. Supposedly, this would mean that the entirety of Season 5 onwards would be in a different timeline; since the Earth is destroyed by Graviton just prior to Thanos's invasion there is nowhere for the events of Infinity War and Endgame to actually occur.
