* KickTheSonOfABitch: After Dottie is zapped into unconsciousness by Sousa's electric net, Peggy gives her another zap anyway.

* RealityEnsues: Peggy has suffered a serious injury in the previous episode and should not be out in the field. She reluctantly agrees to stay in the van and act as MissionControl. When things go bad, she tries to rush into action, but the mere act of standing up too quickly pops her stitches and she starts bleeding again.

* TheChessmaster: Despite how capable Dottie is, Peggy is perfectly prepared to not only break her out, but anticipate what she would do. She disarms the only guard after knocking him out, accurately assuming Dottie would attempt to arm herself after opening her cell. Peggy also tells her to "go right" upon leaving the building, but waits to the left instead since Dottie would likely pick her freedom instead of get put in Peggy's custody.

* SycophanticServant: When Whitney takes control of the Council, Jones can't kiss up to her fast enough.

* PetTheDog: Thompson is uncomfortable with the idea of killing Peggy or destroying her reputation so he makes one final push to convince Peggy to drop her crusade against Whitney and go back to New York.

* UnderestimatingBadassery: The Council members are savvy enough to figure out a way to capture Whitney without her being able to touch anyone. They do not realize that her abilities have advanced beyond that and she kills most of them with ease.

* BenevolentBoss: Thompson is unfcomortable with the ideas of killing Peggy and destroying her reputation so he makes one final push to convince Peggy to drop her crusade against Whitney and go back to New York.

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: When Dottie meets Frost face to face, she doesn't quip like usual, doesn't even say anything. She just freezes and looks ''terrified''. Remember that the only other person we know she fears is Carter, who doesn't get that kind of reaction.

* MomentKiller: Just as a lady at the party is starting to chat up Thompson, Jarvis pops up in between them, a possible reference to a similar scene in ''Film/TheForceAwakens''.
