A Date With Rosie Palms is no longer a trope

trimming out a whole bunch of natter that has nothing at all to do with this trope

** They even got away with an ''anorexia'' joke in the same episode:episode(though it was removed in later airings and in all streaming releases after Music/DemiLovato criticized the network for making light of the disease):

** "Party It Up" sheds a ''positive'' light on anorexia...in terms of physical appearance, at least. The supermodel implies herself as a steadfast anorexic (case in point: "I've never met someone who weighs less than me before") yet she lacks any of the obvious signs such as emaciation, swollen cheeks, crippling {{self deprecation}}, anxiety, or antisocial behavior. Instead - during her short screen time - she appears as a conspicuously gorgeous and socially adept supermodel with a healthy complexion, who happens to be evidently superficial. The show drops no hints at the darker side of anorexia. [[UnfortunateImplications Apparently, the disease has become so mainstream (and accepted), that it is finally okay to mock it on a children's television show]]. Fortunately, Music/DemiLovato spoke out against the tasteless jokes on this episode (and an episode of their old show ''So Random''). As a result, "Party It Up" now airs without the references to anorexia and the ''So Random'' episode that had jokes about the disease has been banned.

* The lyrics to the song "TTYLXOX" include the acronym "LMAO".
** Actually that's a pretty common misconception. It's "LMHO" which has been debated as to whether the "HO" stands for "head off" or "heart out" among fans. But it's still a bit of an envelope push that they are basically referencing "LMAO."

* In "Age It Up", the main conflict in the episode was [=CeCe=] and Rocky having to deal with the ephebophiliac relationship between 16 year old Justin Starr and his mid-twenty year old female manager. *** And then later:
-->"No wonder Deuce likes her more than me. [[LesYay I like her more than me]]."

* Rocky claims that [=CeCe=] fantasizes about "how Gunther would look like riding a horse."
** ''Then'' Gunther proclaims "I look magnificent on a horse". The grin on his face as he says it doesn't help.

* In one episode, Dina says to Deuce (along these lines): "My Mama says men who do not like food do not like girls." [[HaveIMentionedThatIAmHeterosexualToday Deuce then proceeds to eat her mom's tortillas as violently as possible.]]

* In "Break It Up", Ty is dared to [[ClothingSwitch switch outfits with the person on his right]]; this happens to be Gunther, who seems all too interested in the idea. When Ty shows reluctance, Gunther eggs him on by [[HoYay pulling him]] [[NecktieLeash by his tie]] into the vacation house, earning him a slap on the wrist.
** When they return in their reversed outfits, Gunther gushes about how good Ty looks, despite everyone else saying he looks foolish and embarrassing; he even goes so far as to place a hand on the small of his back reassuringly, which Ty doesn't seem to mind.

* In "Embarrass It Up", ''everyone'' is practically slavering over Danika. [[LesYay And that's just the girls]].

* Gary gets away with a lot of things such as forcing the kids to fish his cell out of the toilet, taking bribes from [=CeCe=] and Rocky when they want the spotlight dance, etc. that one has to wonder if it's meant to be humorous or disturbing.
** He also has buddy/buddy moments with the dancers, mainly Rocky and [=CeCe=], that seem slightly inappropriate for someone of his age and profession such as: suggesting his therapist to them, speaking to them like he's their peer and being touchy-feely on occasions (such as hugging [=CeCe=] and Rocky while he rests his head atop [=CeCe=]'s and lets her call him Gare Bear).
*** It doesn't help that there are some who actually ship him with [=CeCe=].

Added DiffLines:

* In "Jingle It Up", [=CeCe=] and Gunther are chosen to do a dance on "Good Morning Chicago." Tinka is so upset, she storms off ranting in her native language. When Gary asks Gunther to translate, Gunther tells him that he's not comfortable repeating it in front of [=CeCe=] and Rocky,"...but rest assured it had something to do with the horse you rode in on."
