In 2006, Stern made a conversion of the game for the Discover Center Museum in Rockford, Illinois, titled ''The Brain''.

All references to ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'' were stripped out, and the TV simply scrolls "BRAIN GAME" continously. Instead, the game focuses on the five senses - seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling. It also has a feature not seen in ''Pinball Party'' - every 10 to 15 games, everything is shut down for about 15 seconds to simulate a seizure.

Bruce Qaust, the Exhibits Manager of the museum, did all the art himself.

A unique twist to

The game resumes after about fifteen seconds, and is meant to teach that seizures are nothing to be afraid of. To prevent pinball wizards from dominating the game, it also includes a time limit, with a special game over message telling players to let another person have a turn.

As one would expect, this pinball game is a cornucopia of all things Simpsons as the entire town of Springfield comes out for a wild nonstop party. Take a tour of Springfield's iconic landmarks, from Moe's Tavern and the town monorail to the Quik-E-Mart and the Nuclear Power Plant. The game features the talking, moving head of Homer Simpson, along with skateboarding Bart, Itchy & Scratchy, and Comic Book Guy. The garage door leads to a second level with a dot-matrix color television set and a couch that gets filled up to start multiball. The party is easy to start, but only the very best players will get to invoke Super Duper Mega Extreme Wizard Mode.

As one would expect, this pinball game is a cornucopia of all things Simpsons, centered around the family living room on a second-level mini playfield. Springfield's iconic landmarks are present, from Moe's Tavern to the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, and overlooking it all is Homer's gigantic bald head. Send the balls through the garage and onto the couch, then fill it up to start multiball and the quest for Super Duper Mega Extreme Wizard Mode.
