* Almost the entire cast of ''Manhwa/TheBrideOfTheWaterGod'' is made up of Physical Gods except for Soah, the eponymous bride, since most of the story takes place in the home of the gods.

* ''Anime/{{Bakugan}}'': There are some Bakugan that are so powerful that they are capable of destroying a planet or even the entire universe.

** Dharak is another example, He is the Descendant of the original Dharak and has inherited his ancestors incredible power, he becomes more powerful by evolving into Phantom Dharak and gaining his Mobile Assault mode becoming Dharak Colossus and was able to fight Lumino Dragonoid. [[spoiler: He becomes more powerful after mutated into Razenoid and later in his evolved form.]]

* ''Manga/SailorMoon'': And the Sailor Senshi qualify. Manga only. The anime not so much.

* ''Literature/Overlord2012'' has most of Nazarick's inhabitants in comparison to the beings of the New World. In the New World, beings with level around 30 are considered mythical beings. Most of the Nazarick is level 35 at least and '''level 100''' at most. Shown in special detail in volume 9 of the novel, [[spoiler:where Ainz curb-stomps an army of 250,000 soldier with a single spell]].

* In ''LightNovel/KyouranKazokuNikki'' we have Gouyokuou and [[spoiler:Gekka]]. Both are apparently ageless alien beings of great power. The former requires a PowerLimiter just so he doesn't pulverize Earth into dust by complete accident. The latter has a whole set of ill-defined powers that include MindRape, cosmic scale teleportation, VoluntaryShapeshifting and [[ShockAndAwe energy blasts]].

** Another interesting example is the Lunarian tribe: with their power to [[PlayingWithFire spontaneously create and control fire]], along with their reputed ability to [[MadeOfIron survive in any environment]], they were once believed to be physical gods themselves long before the foundation of the World Government. King, Kaido's [[TheDragon right-hand man]] and [[LastOfHisKind the only known living Lunarian]], certainly lives up to their reputation, being [[NighInvulnerability nigh-invulnerable]] and one hell of a LightningBruiser. A pity that Zoro is a non-believer.

** [[spoiler:Kaguya Otsutsuki, like her son the Sage of Six Paths, was incredibly powerful. Unlike him, she was also variously worshipped as a goddess or considered a demon. She was also the only person who had chakra at first, which put her way above the rest of humanity in general. She gained her godly powers by eating the chakra fruit from the God Tree making her the first chakra user on earth and has even fought her two sons for many days and nights until she was sealed, during the final battle against Team 7, it was stated she can destroy and recreate entire dimensions]].

** [[spoiler: Lucius Zogratis, is stated to be more powerful than his other self Julius, and he proved it by [[CurbStompBattle easily defeating]] Asta in his angelic form, and he’s the only character to have three magic attributes, Soul, Time, and Gravity.]]

This makes him almost impossible to defeat, and the protagonists never do get the chance to kill him, as Yhwach does the deed for them.

** Sternritter 'V', [[CreepyChild Gremmy Thoumeaux]] claims to be the strongest of the Sternritter, second only to Yhwach himself. This claim is shown to be almost completely justified by both his immeasurable amount of Spiritual Power, and his Schrifft granting him the ability to [[RealityWarper alter reality]] itself to the will of whatever he [[ImaginationBasedSuperpower imagines]]. His power was feared by both Haschwalth and Askin, and he was able to fight on par with Kenpachi Zaraki, a top contender for the title of strongest Soul Reaper in the series. The only reason he lost at all was because he couldn’t contain Kenpachi's overwhelming power and immeasurable spiritual pressure.

** Sternritter 'X', [[ColdSniper Lille Barro]], is the very first Quincy granted a Schrift by Yhwach, and is by far one of the most powerful Sternritters in the Vandenreich, and is able to access a second form of his Vollständig that transforms him into a Transcendent being. He himself states that he is closer to a God than a human. In the end, only a weapon that was specifically designed to kill Gods could hurt him, and even that didn't fully destroy him.

* In ''LightNovel/ACertainMagicalIndex'', there are quite a lot of these. Anything classified as gods in myths and religions qualify, since this series is set in a fantasy setting with FantasyKitchenSink and AllMythsAreTrue. Special mention however, goes to...

* LightNovel/HaruhiSuzumiya. She can warp existences and change things merely by childishly wishing something to be different. She can unwittingly destroy the universe if she is bored. And it's implied that she would be beyond it, to the point of being an omnipotent god, [[LockedOutOfTheLoop if she was aware of her power]].

* ''LightNovel/HighSchoolDXD'': AllMythsAreTrue means all deities in myths and religions count as one of these. But, special mention must go to the "Top 10 Strongest Beings in Existence", as well as a few other beings not on the list but are at their level, including Longinus-class Sacred Gear wielders (whom could potentially kill deities) as well as the higher ranking dragons (whom are appropriately feared by all myths and legends).

* While it's not usually touched upon due to her suffering nasty cases of CripplingOverspecialisation or just plain idiocy, Aqua from ''LightNovel/KonoSuba'' is this. While the specifics of how divinity in the novel works is unclear, Aqua specifically has jurisdisction over the Earth and is actually known to be a senior goddess (with Eris being her subordinate). She also has extremely high stats and, as an Arch-Priest, can use the highest levels of holy magic, including the ability to revive the dead (Which she has done to save Kazuma multiple times... oftentimes from situations she got the party into to begin with). She also has access to Water magic (Up to and including the ability to cause a flash flood with Sacred Create Water), as a water goddess. This is touched upon in the crossover ''Anime/IsekaiQuartet'', where a normal TurnUndead spell from her manages to harm [[LightNovel/Overlord2012 Ainz Ooal Gown]], who in his own series is an InvincibleHero, bordering on PhysicalGod himself by its power tier, and even has protection against holy magic like Turn Undead. Aqua's divinity would be touched upon again in the second season of ''Quartet'' to explain Aqua's immunity to Ainz' [[TimeStandsStill Time Stop]].

** ''Anime/DragonBallSuper'' introduces the [[TopGod God to end all Gods]], Zeno the [[GodEmperor Omni-King]], who makes Gods of Destruction, Beerus and Champa, cower in fear. Beerus states that Zeno could [[PersonOfMassDestruction wipe out]] TheMultiverse in a matter of seconds, if he wished to do so (which he does in an AlternateTimeline and leaves it a BigBlankVoid). Fortunately he is an example of GodIsGood, and is a benevolent [[ImmortalImmaturity child-like deity]]. [[spoiler: At least for the most part since he did wipe out six universes in the past. They used to be eighteen instead of just twelve. During the Tournament of Power he casually erases seven more universes due to losing the tournament.]]

** Piccolo is also a good fit. He already had the arsenal of mystical abilities from his Namekian heritage, including a HealingFactor, [[MindOverMatter limited telekinesis]], {{telepathy}}, ExtendableArms, [[SizeShifter size shifting]], and the ability to [[TheAssimilator assimilate]] fellow Namekians to get stronger. Not to mention he ends up becoming the strongest Namekian period, even bestowing a "Super Namek" status. But he fits best when he fuses with Kami, who served as a guardian overlooker god of Earth, and takes his place for a while. It's particularly notable that Piccolo is the only one of the main heroes to overshoot the impossibly strong Saiyans on two occasions, even after [[SuperMode Super Saiyan]] was introduced.

** Gohan is basically this during certain parts of the series. After gaining access to his Ultimate Form, he becomes the first opponent to actually overpower Super Buu handily, who was roughly even with Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks, which forced Buu to absorb Gotenks and Piccolo to regain the advantage. Even then, after Gotenks' fusion time ends, Goku muses that Gohan could still beat Buu without resorting to Potara Fusion even with the added power of Piccolo, Goten and Trunks, which was only prevented by Buu absorbing Gohan. In ''Super'', after retraining himself and regaining access to his Ultimate power-up. When he spars with Goku in Episode 90, [[spoiler: he's able to fight evenly his father as a Super Saiyan Blue, and Goku needed to stack Kaioken on top of it to knock him out in one hit]].
