* TheyFightCrime: A fugitive semi-aquatic special forces amateur stage magician framed for a crime he didn't commit- the 1865 assassination of Abraham Lincoln - joins forces with a rogue trillionaire inventor extreme fighting champion from the future. Together with the aid of R.I.C.K., their super crime-fighting high-tech talking rickshaw, they'll bring hope, justice, and varying degrees of aquaticness to a tri-state area in peril. * SeldomSeenSpecies:
** Part of Heinz Doofenshmirtz's HilariouslyAbusiveChildhood involved getting adopted by ocelots.
** In "Tour De Ferb", Doofenshmirtz's part-time job involved posing for an advertisement with a wombat.
** In "Interview With a Platypus", among the animals chasing Candace are a roadrunner and a spotted hyena.
** "Hawaiian Vacation" had a manta ray. Also in the same episode, Perry and Doofenshmirtz briefly get transformed into an ''Ichthyornis'' and a mudskipper respectively, and Doof makes a reference to ''Pliopithecus'' as he explains his evil plan to Perry.
** The red-billed oxpecker from "What'd I Miss?"
** "The Secret to Success" had a manatee.
** "Where's Perry" featured bontebok, bongo, zebu, waterbuck, and ring-tailed lemurs.
** The blind cave salamander from "Save Summer".
** "Der Kinderlumper" had chinchillas.
** The star-nosed mole from "At the Car Wash".
** "It's About Time!" had ''Alamosaurus'' and enantiornithes.
** In "Excaliferb", Phineas rides on an ''Ornimegalonyx'' as the group confront Malefishmirtz.
** Perry himself, a duck-billed platypus, counts as one.
** Some of the OWCA agents include a mongoose, a great grey heron, and an aardvark.
** The spin-off special "OWCA Files" features Harry the Hyena and Maggie the Macaw.

* WhenThingsSpinScienceHappens: The Wiki/TVTropes entry is referenced in "Primal Perry" when Baljeet is inside a machine built by our heroes to test something or other. When the machine starts spinning Buford asks "Is science happening yet"?

%%** Almost everything the kids do. This leads to {{hilarity| ensues}} when the boys try this in areas where it doesn't work, such as trying to create a romantic atmosphere by dumping an entire box of flower petals on the scene at once (sometimes including the box as well).
%%** Almost any trope than can be applied generally to the show that can also be applied to "Summer Belongs to You" got the volume cranked up.

%%** Candace, to an [[UpToEleven insane]] and [[ButtMonkey unfortunate]] degree.

* WhiteAndGreyMorality: On the "white" side, Phineas and Ferb are short on flaws, as are many of their friends. On the "gray" side, While Candace is often the antagonist, she's neither evil nor truly spiteful -- only impulsive and a bit high-strung, and has shown on occasion that she genuinely cares for her brothers. Buford is a card-carrying bully, but is a JerkWithAHeartOfGold who is clearly friends with his "victims". Even the BigBad Doofenshmirtz is quite AffablyEvil, [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes loves his daughter dearly]], and is an absurdly FriendlyEnemy to Perry. His attempts to take over the ENTIRE! TRI-STATE! AREA! come across as more pretending to be evil to get attention than the evil acts of a power-mad lunatic. Suzy Johnson appeared to be a straight {{Jerkass}} in her first appearance, but later episodes revealed that she's a sweet girl whenever Jeremy's not around. The only really unpleasant recurring characters are Doofenshmirtz's parents in his tales of his HilariouslyAbusiveChildhood.

* WorldOfSnark: While it's definitely one of the most idealistic shows on television, a lot of the humors tend to be very dry-witted and nonchalant.

%%* SpaghettiKiss: Almost done in "Summer Belongs to You"....with [[HoYay Buford and Baljeet]].

* StrictlyFormula: Each episode involves the plot with the boys creating a big project and their sister failing to show it to their mom, and Doofenshmirtz setting an evil plan in motion and be twarted by perry.

* WhatCouldPossiblyGoWrong: Said almost word-for-word by Stacy in "Moon Farm", before they cook a dish of lamb cobbler [[OvenLogic for fifteen minutes at 9000 degrees.]] Subverted in the sense that [[spoiler:nothing actually ''does'' go wrong, at least on Candace and Stacy's end.]]

* SomethingCompletelyDifferent: "Doof 101" takes place ''in school'' and does not make use of any of the show's typical RunningGags. Phineas and Ferb themselves only get a cameo appearance while Candace does not appear at all, and we instead get a subplot involving talking insects that have never appeared in the series before.

* StockFootage: Being a remake of the very first episode [[RecycledINSPACE IN SONG]], "Rollercoaster: TheMusical" reuses a lot of footage from that episode (though most of the reused lines were rerecorded and some of the jokes were changed).

** Doofenshmirtz is very close to getting an upskirt view of Candace in TheMovie while the main characters dangle in chains above a lava pit, but for most of the time, he was looking down.

%%** Several in TheMovie when the boys find out that Perry is a secret agent.

** In [[WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerbTheMovieAcrossTheSecondDimension The Movie]], 2nd Dimension Doofenschmirtz, unable to read his watch “with those little hash marks,” declares that his victory occurred “between 3:30 and 4, Eastern Standard Time,” which is, coincidentally [[spoiler: when [[ChekhovsGun Major Monogram told Perry not to use the hologram on his watch, as he would be showering then]]]]. Since [[spoiler: Perry]] was then able to successfully [[InvokedTrope invoke]] [[spoiler: [[NakedPeopleAreFunny Naked People Are Funny]]]] in order to escape, the show’s main dimension is definitely set somewhere in the Eastern Time Zone.

** In "Where's Perry?" [[spoiler:The robot Candace decides to take a lasershot for candace after hearing the message Jeremy left for her.]]

** Doofenshmirtz explains that he only cares making things for the evil. To the point that when an invention of his is used for improving vision, and he is even being paid for it, he still feels the need to create someting to worsen people's vision to "balance" things out.

* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Buford and Baljeet. The former being your typical bully acting rough and prefering masculine things, the later mellower, prefering more intellectual abilities.

** In "Where's Perry", when Perry arrives at the headquarters to save Monogram, but is immediatly trapped by Evil Carl, who proceeds to clap in self-indulgment.

* RealityHasNoSubtitles: PlayedWith in the episode "Tri-Stone Area". The characters speak in cave-man jibberish, and no sub-titles are given. Of course, if you know all the {{Catch Phrase}}s, {{Running Gag}}s and things that happen OnceAnEpisode, you pretty much know what they're saying, just from the situation and inflections used. The creators [[BreakingTheFourthWall break in]] in stop-motion animation, and [[DiscussedTrope talk about this]]:

** Isabella starts flashing back to how the Fireside Girls failed their first attempt at earning their beekeeping patches in "Bee Story", but is stopped by Gretchen.

** Who won Phineas and Ferb's quiz show in "Let's Take a Quiz." Not to mention what the objective was in the first place.

* WhamEpisode:
** The first part of "Where's Perry?" ends with [[spoiler: Phineas, Ferb, and their friends falling into a gorge, Jeremy apparently breaking up with Candace, Perry suddenly vanishing after being hit by several inators at the same time, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking the restaurant apparently losing Lawrence and Linda's reservation!]]]]
** "Happy Birthday, Isabella". [[spoiler:Stacy finds out Perry's status as a secret agent, and ''doesn't'' get her memory erased.]]
** "Night of the Living Pharmacists" has Isabella ''finally'' [[spoiler: confessing her feelings to Phineas]], though it is ambiguous if the two remember the event happening or not.

** The promo for "Candace Gets Busted" basically said it all - it ended up as a small get together, but then escalated into an insane party, and shows Linda grounding Candace. Then it gives a clip of the song "Candace Party" from said episode.
