* The Creator/{{Slimebeast}} {{Creepypasta}} "Don't Pet the Dog" features a literal example crossed over with NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished, once the story reveals ''why'' you should not pet the titular dog. [[spoiler:See, the dog the protagonist meets has a chunk of his left ear missing, and at the end of the story he is warned of a murderer loose in the area... [[BalefulPolymorph who has a chunk of his left ear missing]]]].

* Even though he's more JerkassWoobie than bad guy, WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic paused in his rampaging through an anime convention dressed as a Film/{{Ghostbuster|s}} and trying to destroy CasperTheFriendlyGhost (ItMakesSenseInContext ...somehow.) to tell a little girl that she was adorable. The fact that it was ad-libbed makes it even sweeter.

* ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'': In a textbook and somewhat literal example of the trope, not even [[AcademicAlphaBitch Weiss]] [[HatesEveryoneEqually Schnee]] can resist the charms of Ruby and Yang's pet corgi, Zwei. She falls into [[BabyTalk childish babbling]] scant seconds after seeing him.
-->'''Weiss''': "Oh, I'll miss you so much we're going to be best friends I can't wait to see you again gaga you're so cute [*unintelligible*]"

* In the 2014 WebVideo/D20Live campaign, after wiping out the whole party, Big Mike decides to ignore Linkara's command that Fussy Britches (a four-armed gargoyle polymorphed into a kitten, tamed by the party, and then gender-swapped and alignment-switched into a Chaotic Good female kitten) poops on Acererak's skull and has her use her prior knowledge of the dungeon to steal a piece of treasure and escape unharmed, much to the delight of the crowd.

** Subverted in episode 18.5 when he calls his son "special" (in a good way), only to add that he's still part of a failed batch. Suffice to say, [[spoiler:Magnus]] is not amused.
** ''Horus'' of all people gets a straight example in the same episode - when Malal has a mental breakdown over himself being uncanonical, he consoles him and offers to make him hot chocolate.

** In ''SuburbanKnights'', after spending the entire event tricking and manipulating the reviewers of his site, all while he himself refuses to play along and act in character and generally is a selfish bastard, the Critic is genuinely worried about Team 2 after [[spoiler:he figures out that the map he got in a chain letter was sent by Malachite, and that Team 2 had no way of knowing that there was an EvilLuddite tracking them down]]. Immediately after, he and the rest of Team 1 band together to take down the next obstacle, so that they can quickly find Team 2 and warn them. (Given how the reviewers in general had their turns as jerks, this would count for them all in general)
