* In Film/ThePhantomOfTheOpera2004, the Phantom uses a Don Juan disguise for "The Point of No Return." It just about works, but fails because Piangi (the real Don Juan) is noticeably heavier-set than the Phantom,
** The stage version tries to make this slightly more plausible by using a heavy floor-length cloak with a deep cowl for the "Don Juan" costume. Some Phantom actors go the extra mile and even attempt to emulate Piangi's Italian accent for the duration of the song. It still doesn't explain why nobody notices the guy performing with Christine is suddenly about a hundred pounds lighter, though. Although it does add new meaning to why the Phantom's pre-production instructions for the Opera House for Don Juan Triumphant back in "Notes" included a request that "Our Don Juan must lose some weight, it's not healthy in a man of Piangi's age."

* In Film/Enchanted, Nathaniel is tasked by Queen Nerissa into tracking down and killing Giselle with some poisoned apples. This results in a number of extremely poor disguises, especially because Nathaniel has a very distinctive appearance as a short, rotund, snaggle-toothed man -- and furthermore, Giselle interacted with him in Andalasia, yet fails to recognize him in every instance. Somehow, not even the more down-to-earth Robert notices anything amiss.
** Nathaniel first talks to Nerissa in a restaurant's kitchen, where he goes completely unnoticed because he is wearing a chef's hat as his only disguise element. He's still wearing his medieval "fairy tale" outfit, but no one else in the extremely crowded kitchen thinks him out of place besides a single dishwasher, and only then because Nathaniel is talking into a pot of soup that Nerissa uses to communicate.

* King Henry V in Creator/KennethBranagh's film on Creator/WilliamShakespeare play Theatre/HenryV. King Henry dresses himself as an archer and visits his troops during the night before the battle of Agincourt, using a pretty transparent name "Harry Leroy". Harry is, of course, colloquial from Henry, and while Leroy is a Welsh name, it is also French for le Roi, "king". When one of the archers asks him if he is of Welsh origin, he answers affirmatively; before he became king of England, he was Prince of Wales.

* In Film/YouthInRevolt, Nick in a wig and a dress as "Carlotta" easily fools Sheeni's parents. .
* In Film/Zookeeper, Griffin (Creator/KevinJames) and Bernie the gorilla (voiced by Nick Nolte) sneak out of the zoo and go to a TGI Friday's (ItMakesSenseInContext). How is it pulled off? Griffin simply has Bernie wear a shirt and they pretend to have come from a costume party. Works like a charm.

* In HorrorComedy Film/ThanksKilling, Turkie disguises himself with a pair of groucho glasses, and later, by wearing his victim's face as a mask. Neither should do much to hide the fact that he's a talking turkey, but the main characters are dumb enough that it works anyway.

** Played for laughs at the end of the same film. When Jay tells Weaver that Dennis Rodman is an alien, she says, "Really? Not much of a disguise." (Any NBA fan would probably "get" the joke quickly; those not in the know would probably be helped by knowing that Rodman is square in TheTysonZone.)

Added DiffLines:

* Film/DescendantOfTheSun, a knockoff of the Christopher Reeve Superman films, follows the trope with the SupermanSubstitute hero Shue Sang, who can blend with civilians while assuming a superhero identity simply by changing clothes. He doesn't even have glasses, and yet managed to fool everyone.

* In the made-for-TV film “Love Strikes Twice”, at one point Maggie Turner infiltrates a golf club that her current boyfriend and new fiancé is a member of to steal incriminating evidence from her boyfriend’s father. At one point she has a run-in with her boyfriend, and he doesn’t even realise who Maggie is just because she’s wearing a cap and a uniform (although she takes care to keep her head down and turns away so that he doesn’t see her face directly).
