* While Pinhead's alliances may be short, he does have strong ties to a particular entity that hosts hunting sprees where it nominates "champions" to kill a bunch of survivors the entity collects for this event. Pinhead happens to be one of those "champions", and though killing may be the entity's desire which the priest has no problems with, his main goal is to simply give these survivors the ultimate pleasure and sensations, even if they do result in death. Their aims don't clash with one another, which has allowed the entity and Pinhead to maintain a working relationship and the Cenobites are more than welcome to participate in these hunts at any time. And although he isn't a [[SlasherMovie Slasher Icon]], he's found himself compared to several icons from that field, though Freddy Krueger, being a fellow demon, feels that he could prove himself the superior terror and challenges himself to see who could kill the most, something that Pinhead sees little interest in and he finds Freddy's bravado and wisecracks annoying. He finds [[Pantheon/NarrativeGenresAToM Jason Voorhees]] and Michael Myers to be rather enigmatic, if mainly because of their silent gestures, though while the Cenobite Priest is not entirely sure of whether the former could feel any pain given his sheer resilience and thus don't have a relationship, he does recognize the latter for simply being a force of pure evil and finds trouble in figuring whether Michael would desire the Lament Configuration and if he could even feel physical pleasure from pain. Finally, he has a working relationship with the original Jigsaw, John Kramer, though it is a strained one as while they do believe in justice and punishment, their perspectives on it differ, with Pinhead feeling that sensation is what drives human nature while Kramer adamantly believes that mental and physical suffering is necessary for one's growth and to enlighten themselves, resulting in the two clashing as to which method of torture would benefit equally for both of them.
