* When Princess Syalis encountered Snorlax, she was filled with joy, having found a new place to snooze (though she prefers snoozing on [[Pantheon/BodyImages Totoro's]] belly due to Snorlax being much less fluffy, slightly less willing to let people sleep on him, and also because Snorlax had much more of a tendency to stir and roll over in his sleep, even having crushed and killed her by accident in doing so). Snorlax was the partner of [[Pantheon/CompetitorsAndContenders Mako Reizei of the Anglerfish Team]] at the time, but after witnessing the Sleeping Pokémon's interaction with Syalis, they deemed the latter a better partner to him, so they have decided to allow the Princess to partner up with it. She was very disappointed because it wasn't Jigglypuff who got assigned to her, but having a sentient oversized bed to sleep on which she can call on demand and that can also fight for her if motivated enough is not something Princess Syalis will complain about. Mako wasn't pleased either, but the Princess has allowed her to sleep on him together, which Mako happily accepted.

* [[Pantheon/ChildArchetypes The Kusakabe sisters]] once mistook Snorlax for [[Pantheon/BodyImages Totoro]] before they realized that ''everyone else'' was able to see him, and they were ''not'' happy because he was blocking one of the Halls again. They watched as he was awoken, saw that he really wasn't Totoro at all, and fled when he grumpily attacked his awakeners. They would see him again another day at another Hall at the House of Nature, just finished with a mean and sleeping it off. And this time, Mei could not resist trying to get on his tummy and bouncing on it.
