* Although Vishnu has allied himself with Philemon and shares in his opposition towards Nyarlathotep, he's quite frustrated by his GodsHandsAreTied policy and his general disaffection with his champions, which contrasts with Vishnu's own habit of simply incarnating himself (basically becoming his own champion) to deal with threats more directly. Vishnu, due to representing goodness and enlightenment, is unsurprisingly quite hated by Nyarlathotep, who views him as a major threat.

* Bruce Nolan is a television reporter reporter, covering fluff human interest stories in Buffalo, New York York, who is discontented with almost everything in life despite his popularity and his love for his girlfriend Grace. At By the end of the worst day of his life, he lost a promotion to his co-worker, embarrassed himself on Live-TV, got fired, and then got beat up by a group of thugs. Out of frustration, Bruce angrily ridicules and rages against God. God and God then responds by revealing Himself, endowing Bruce with divine powers and challenges challenging Bruce to take on the big job to see if he can do better. Bruce used these powers in selfish ways, like making his news coverage more exciting (by framing people for crimes or creating natural disasters), getting the promotion he wanted by humiliating his co-worker On Air, and doing a bunch of stuff to make Grace happy. God also reminded him that he needed to answer prayers as God would. So, Bruce complied with all the prayers he received, got tired of answering them, and said "Yes" to all of them out of laziness.
** Unfortunately, any people who were praying for a lottery ticket only got to take home a small amount of money, causing a large-scale riot. His promotion also caused a rift between him and his girlfriend, as she felt underappreciated by him because he's too focused on his job. Not to mention all the aftermath of the natural disasters he caused.
Ultimately, Bruce learns that even with divine might, he can't fix his problems because they're based in on his own arrogance.
**
arrogance and incompetence. After admitting his failings, Bruce once served as one of Walter Cronkite's followers until and God decided to clean up the mess Bruce had made. Bruce later made amends with his co-worker and his girlfriend. He even returned to his previous job with a new-found appreciation for life.
* The
Court of the Gods took notice of his Bruce's story shortly after The Alpha and Omega gained His title in the Pantheon. All it took to get Bruce to the Pantheon was having God invite him back to His building and showing him a newly created door that led to a courtroom. The High Court offered to make him a representative of those who were temporarily given godlike powers. With some persuasion, Bruce was granted him godhood once again (albeit not as powerful as he once had).
was). Not that Bruce would want that kind of power again, having learned his lesson from his experiences and decided to do good deeds without it.
** Bruce was once offered a job as a reporter at one of the news stations in the Pantheon. He turned that job offer down, as he was content with his old job in the mortal realm. Most of the time, while in the Pantheon, Bruce would travel a lot just to talk to people and share his experiences. He hopes that by doing so, it will make people think twice about accepting the responsibilities of a God as he was.
* Upon learning that his God has a temple is in the Pantheon, he offered to pay a visit, though visit. On one occasion, he was a bit surprised to find out that He [[WesternAnimation/GodTheDevilAndBob looks different]] from the God he's used to. to, an old lighter-skinned man rather than the dark-skinned younger gentleman he knew. This God explained to him that He's from a different world, but He's kind of like the God Bruce knew. After chatting for a bit and finding that He seemed just as casual as his own God, Bruce left on speaking terms with Him, though Him. Before that, He would tell him that He won't wouldn't practice giving a mortal being powers after learning the mess that it could cause. He does agree, however, cause.
** Bruce eventually learns
that YHVH not all Abrahamic Gods are just like his own. He stays away from the likes of YHVH, as his need to control others is not like the God that he knows.
knows. His God already has bad blood with YHVH, who disagrees with His ideals and would also yell at the Alpha And Omega for giving a mortal that kind of power. [[spoiler:Chuck Shurley]] is another Abrahamic God, who seemed reasonable if imperfect but is slowly revealed to be an abusive parent and creator who treats existence like a show and is immensely callous as a result. His actions horrified Bruce, who was worried he would have become like him had he not stopped using his powers to suit his own wants.
* Found out that the situation of people who are also Gods for a limited amount of Time has happened to others. As expected, they expressed a similar sentiment that having to balance the needs and wants of others, even with that immense power, is quite hard. As such, they can be related to each other due to these experiences. He has befriended some of these people, like Bender, Castiel and Dean Winchester.
** Met up Kyle Rayner, who once went through a similar situation when he became Ion, a being with all the power of the entire Green Lantern Corps, until Superman advised him to back down because people started to worship him as a god. He also discovers that being godlike means being unable to sleep or do stuff separate from his duties as Ion. Soon after, rather than sacrifice his humanity, Kyle abandoned omnipotence and sacrificed the power so that the Guardians of the Universe and the Corps could live again. While Kyle did a much better job at being a "God" than Bruce did, Kyle tells Bruce he still prefers just being a regular Green Lantern, as he expresses that he can relate to what Bruce has been through.
** Eventually Bruce learns that not all those who gained the power of gods are not all good people. He has heard how Lex Luthor [[ComicBook/TheBlackRing was once granted divine powers to make the universe a paradise]], but couldn't use them to screw with Superman. Needless to say, this put him at odds with him. Thanos of Titan is another one who had gained omnipotence in the past. While he is typically able to handle the responsibility of said power, he ultimately can't be trusted with it due to his tendency to try conquering or destroying the universe whenever he can. For similar reason as Luthor, he is also at odds with the mad Titan as well.
* Bruce is hardly the first person to learn lessons via supernatural means. For example, he also hangs out with George Bailey due to both of them not appreciating their wonderful lives at first but being helped out by a divine being. He has also taken great pity on Timmy Turner, a kid who received magic fairies, which were given to him due to his miserable home life. Timmy's wishes [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor ending up in a recursive manner]], sometimes due to his own selfish desires or when things don't work out like he hoped. Bruce related to Timmy quite a bit, having to learn similar lessons when he was trying to handle God's powers. He also
gets along with Phil Connors Connors, a fellow reporter, due to both of them having godlike powers that taught them a valuable lesson (Bruce getting his powers directly from God and Phil [[GroundhogDayLoop being stuck in the same day]] without knowing why).
* He was also hangs out visited by Fred Flintstone, seeing how he was once given a boss position by the Great Gazoo, only to find that it's actually a burden since he has to deal with George Bailey due higher-ups, stay late in meetings, etc. His chat with Fred led to Bruce discovering [[LetsSeeYouDoBetter many stories of others having to switch jobs to see if they could do better]]. Much like Bruce, they didn't do a good enough job as the original person, and ultimately having to admit their job is not as easy as it seems. Bruce hopes this lesson sticks with them, and they appreciate their lives like he did.
* There are some people (namely Gorr the God Butcher and Light Yagami) think Bruce could have done better with these powers. Light thinks he should have used his own powers to punish and kill the wicked. After seeing that Light kind of went mad from merely having the trappings of a god via the Death Note as well as [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist using it to kill people who oppose him]] [[ItsAllAboutMe to boost his ego]], Bruce knows better than to kill a bunch of people, even if they can be flawed as people. Gorr criticize Bruce for not using the opportunity to use his powers to smite his own God for not being as proactive as He should be. When Bruce responded that he empathized with his God and that BeingGodIsHard, Gorr's response was to "be harder and don't be a god!". Ultimately, he thinks
both of them not appreciating are nuts.
** There are also those who think that mortals shouldn't have God powers at all. Besides YHVH, there's also Zamasu who uses Bruce's story (and his irresponsibility) to justify why mortals are wicked the way they are. But seeing as Zamasu is someone who's everything a god shouldn't use
their wonderful power for and [[PsychologicalProjection would project every bad thing about himself onto Bruce]], no one took his argument seriously. Bruce, surprisingly, agrees with that argument, mostly because there are far too few people who are selfless enough to handle God's power, and they shouldn't rely on supernatural powers to help people. But that is as much as they can agree on, unfortunately.
* During Bruce's time with God's power, he can be a bit frivolous, like when he uses it to give himself new clothes, get himself a new car, get back at his bullies, or give his girlfriend amazing sex. Sometimes, it can lead to unintended side effects, like when he pulled the moon closer to impress his girlfriend, which caused flooding on the other side of the world. What made him realize his mistakes was seeing the effects of his recklessness, like the aforementioned lottery riot or when Grace left him when their relationship fell apart. The Collector and Fat Majin Buu are both childish entities with godlike powers who mainly used them to play games without realizing the damage they were doing to the world before they were taught to be better. In the case of both of them, it took being shown kindness to make them see the error of their ways. Despite being more powerful than Bruce currently is, they learned from each other about empathizing with people and not overusing the power that they have.
* Despite the immense powers, there's one thing God (and later Bruce) cannot do, and that is to control the "free will" of other people (i.e., make them do or think what He wants them to think or do). Bruce learned this the hard way when he tried to make Grace forgive him, which failed as expected. Bruce is horrified by the likes of Zebediah Killgrave, who can make people do his bidding in [[MindRape horrifying]] [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil ways]] with his voice and pheromones. He worried that had he not changed his ways and didn't had that power limitation, he would have become just like him. Other Greater Gods and Overdeities (and one Quasideity) became interested in Bruce for the novelty of giving a mortal immense godlike powers, and the failings of such a concept. Gowasu, for example, was one such powerful being, and he is proud of Bruce for trying to do his best to fulfill the role of his God and not letting himself be consumed by power lust.
* Although Bruce, during his time as a God, could get and create whatever he wanted, having to balance that with managing the
lives of others makes his task quite difficult. Which makes his meeting with the Beyonder interesting, as even if The Beyonder doesn't have limitations and can theoretically control free will too, The Beyonder can think of anything he wants but becomes bored as everything becomes what he expects them to be. As he is naturally interested in humans, he has at one point wanted to experience humanity by becoming human himself and learning their limitations, like hunger. Seeing the reverse of that made The Beyonder curious about Bruce, and they learned to become good friends with each other after learning from each other's experiences.
* Since coming to the Pantheon, Bruce has learned a simple but very relatable phase, "WithGreatPowerComesGreatResponsibility". Although, Bruce still doesn't feel the need to have god-powers again in order to do good deeds, he is curious about other people who have used their powers responsibly. As such, one day he visited the villa where the Madrigal family resided. Some of their family members were gifted with various powers and used them responsibly by helping out in their community rather than for selfish gain. Bruce found their warm welcomes and tight kinship very comforting. Their meeting didn't really change his stance about needing powers again (since he's afraid he might screw things up again even with a limited amount of powers). But telling their stories did endear them to each other.
* Although it may seem hypocritical given what he has done, there are two people from his industry he has come to really despise. The
first was Diana Christensen, a TV producer who exploited the failing mental health of a news anchor for ratings by allowing him to rant on air and humiliating himself. The second one was Louis Bloom, who intentionally orchestrated crimes so that he could get the best video footage possible. As expected, the two were quick to grill Bruce for his own failings, framing him as no better than them (even worse than they are), given his immersed powers to give himself an exciting headline or a promotion that caused far more damage than the two of them combined. Ultimately, people were more sympathetic to Bruce given that, unlike the two, he was at least able to see the error of his ways and make amends due to that.
* Another condition Bruce had when he first got his God powers is that he can't tell anyone he's God (mostly because God warns him of attracting unwanted attention that comes with telling people you are literally God). Because of his conditions, he cannot tell his herald Grace the actual title he was holding, and has to come up with a lie to make her not suspect anything. As in, he can't tell her that he had God's powers
but is allowed to tell her that he's a God as in being a Trope representative. He lied and told her he was helped out like the God of Reporters or something. That rule applies to the mortals in his original realm but not in the Pantheon, where most people know the title you are holding. Although he felt bad about having to lie to her, he did try to make up for it by a divine being.
taking her to various fun and exciting places in the Pantheon.
* Has found out about several deities who shared [[Creator/JimCarrey the same face/voice]] as he does and decided to pay a visit. He hangs out with Ebenezer Scrooge and the Grinch due to all three of them starting off as jerks before becoming more selfless as their stories progressed. He also hangs out with Truman Burbank and Stanley Ipkiss conversing about their exploits. However, he He is also bugged with how the Riddler [[Film/BatmanForever sometimes]] or Count Olaf sometimes looks like him (not helping that they are not very good people in general) and avoids their temple whenever he can. Meanwhile, Joel Barish absolutely hates Bruce for his temple.
*
reckless use of the power that was given to him, as well as his callousness toward his love interest reminds Joel too much of his own. The fact that the two looks similar certainly doesn't help.
** He's not the only IdenticalStranger he encountered.
Upon encountering Rachel Green, he [[Creator/JenniferAniston mistook her]] for his lover Grace, thinking that she ascended. After the confusion has cleared out, they became good friends. The same can be said with Michael Scott, after he [[Creator/SteveCarell mistook him for]] his coworker/rival Evan Baxter.
* Met up Kyle Rayner, who once went through a similar situation when he became Ion, a being with all the power of the entire Green Lantern Corps, until Superman advises him to back down because people start to worship him as a god.
** He was also visited by Fred Flintstone, seeing how he was once given a boss position by the Great Gazoo, only to find that it's actually a burden since he has to deal with higher-ups, stay late in meetings, etc.
** Has heard how Lex Luthor [[ComicBook/TheBlackRing was once granted divine powers to make the universe a paradise]], but couldn't use them to screw with Superman. Needless to say, this put him at odds with him.
* He has taken great pity towards Timmy Turner due to the latter's wishes [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor ending up in a recursive matter]]. Bruce had learned a similar lesson when he was trying to handle God's powers.

* Five Million years ago, Universe 7 had five Supreme Kais. They were the North Supreme Kai, the South Supreme Kai, the West Supreme Kai, Shin the East Supreme Kai, and the Grand Supreme Kai. Shin was the youngest and the older four's apprentice, as they watched over the stars from the peace of the Sacred World of the Kai. Then the wizard Bibidi summoned [[HumanoidAbomination Majin Buu]]. During Buu's Universe wrecking rampage, he landed on their world, and attacked the Kais. West Kai was the first to fight Buu. Despite her best efforts, she was blown to ash along with the surrounding glacier. North Kai was the next to fight Buu, and he was soon blasted to Bibidi's feet. South Kai battled Buu next. While he did much better than his peers, Buu was still too strong, and he was the first to be absorbed by Buu. As the newly formed Ultra Buu beat up Shin, Grand Supreme Kai stepped in and blasted Buu apart to trick Buu into absorbing him, morphing Buu into the passive Fat Buu. [[YouAreInCommandNow Their deaths forced Shin to become the lone Supreme Kai of Universe 7]], a role he was ''not'' ready for.
* For five million years, West and North Kai remained dead, and South and Grand Supreme Kai were [[FateWorseThanDeath fully incorporated into Majin Buu]]. The legacy of their deeds lived on, with their fellow Kais having fond memories of their late friends. Surprisingly, ''Zamasu'' was the most fervent in his admiration. He had heard of the menace of Buu, and the Kais giving their lives to try and stop that [[VillainRespect earned his unironic approval]]. To Zamasu, the dead Kais were examples of what the rest of the Kais should have been, and he decided that they were taken from the world too soon. He once more quietly gathered the Super Dragon Balls and made a wish to revive the four, fully independent of Buu in the case of South and Grand Supreme Kai. The Kais were surprised to be alive again, and were friendly to Zamasu, until they learned of his goals, and how he had committed more atrocities than Bibidi, and Buu combined. They denounced Zamasu, and clashed with him before Zamasu warped back to his temple. [[NiceJobFixingItVillain Despite not being the allies he had wanted, Zamasu had ascended the Kais]].
* When his peers were slain, Shin was devestated, and mourned their sacrifices for the rest of his days. Wwhen he heard that Zamasu had revived them, he warped to the Sacred World of the Kai, and had a [[TearsOfJoy tearful reunion with his resurrected friends]]. They also had a happy reunion with their fellow heroic Supreme Kai Gowasu, and consoled him on how his apprentice had gone so far astray. They also happily (if ''very'' nervously) greeted Zeno, and promised to help Shin fulfil his role as the sole Supreme Kai of Universe 7 better. That said, not all of their fellow divines were met with such happiness. The revived Kais have a rather frosty relationship with their Universe's God of Destruction, Beerus. If Beerus had actually done his job, they would never have been killed, [[WhatTheHellHero and they are understandably taking that rather personally]]. They were much happier to see Whis once again, and wished him good luck in dealing with [[{{Manchild}} Beerus]].
** Due to the absorption of the Grand Supreme Kai, Buu was ultimately able to be redeemed after expelling the evil from himself, and becoming Good Buu. It's recently been discovered that the Grand Supreme Kai can even manifest through Fat Buu if incenses are used to bring his memories to the surface. Thus, when the Grand Supreme Kai was gifted a new body, he was happy to try physically befriending Buu. Oddly, Buu can still manifest him at the same time, to the confusion of many. The rest of the Kais are both puzzled about the above, and apprehensive towards Buu, but they are willing to give him a chance since their benevolent leader vouches for him, even if they are bracing themselves to fight Buu.
** When Shin described the role that Hercule Satan had played in stopping Majin Buu, the Kais all endorsed the World's Martial Arts Champion, even if he isn't the bravest soul around. Similarly, the Kais offered their utmost thanks to the Z-Fighters for saving the Universe from Buu and stopping other threats such as Frieza, Zamasu, and Moro, offering to repay their gratitude by helping to unlock their full potential. The Kais were intrigued when they learned of Android 21 from Hercule, and her situation due to having Buu's cells. They decided to let her to consume them all to see if a repeat of Ultra Buu tunring into Fat Buu would happen, and neutralize her hunger. While this didn't take place, 21 did appreciate the sentiment.
* While they were working to get on more comfortable terms with Fat Majin Buu, the Kais were stunned when the original Kid Buu warped in, having followed the familiar sensation of their Godly Ki. While Buu isn't terribly bright when he isn't Super Buu, he still recognized his past victims, especially the Grand Supreme Kai for [[BerserkButton turning him into Fat Buu]]. Kid Buu attacked all four Kais at once, shocking them by being ''far'' stronger than when they first fought. While the Kais managed to fend off Buu with the help of Good Buu and Android 21, they don't want to be Buu's victims again, and have been working to get stronger to combat him, Grand Supreme Kai even making a wish to Shenron to restore his ''true'' Godly Power. The clone of Buu's summoner, Babidi, is almost as despised by the Kais as he nearly got their apprentice killed twice, and even succeeded in the timeline [[Pantheon/TimeAndTemporality Future Trunks]] comes from. While Babidi knows he stands no chance against them directly, he did taunt them with an illusion, gloating to the Kais' faces how much death their failure to stop Buu caused.
* Of course, Buu, and Babidi are hardly the only deities within the Pantheon from their Multiverse that the Kais do not like at all. Zamasu is still furious at how they rebuked his goals in total disgust, bitterly [[NoTrueScotsman declaring the four Universe 7 Supreme Kais to have been brainwashed by the mortals they ended up around in Other World]]. After Grand Supreme Kai had his true power restored by Shenron, he managed to defeat Fused Zamasu by himself. Many deities were left wondering why he didn't flatten Buu with this power, and he explained that he ''would'' have done so, if it hadn't been for the actions of Planet Eater Moro. After devouring all the life from 320 planets, Moro dwarfed the Majin Buu that Bibidi unleashed. Grand Supreme and South Kai engaged Moro, and were struggling to just survive against the wizard. As such, Grand Supreme Kai utilized [[DangerousForbiddenTechnique Kai Kai Matoru]], sacrificing the majority of his power to seal Moro's magic, allowing him to be detained. When the four Kais learned Moro was in the Pantheon, they vowed to merge together to stop him if he ever gets out of control, all of them seething with rage, including, and ''especially'' [[AllLovingHero Grand Supreme Kai]].
** While Shin was attempting to rally the Z-Fighters against Babidi to save the Universe from Majin Buu, he was nearly killed by the Demon King Dabura. [[VideoGame/DragonBallXenoverse Recent stories]] have indicated that feuds between Demons, and Supreme Kais is nothing new, even hinting that the leaders of the Demon Realm are evil Core People, the species of the Kais. Regardless, they aren't happy with Dabura brutalizing Shin, and have vowed to bring him down. Oddly though [[FriendlyEnemy they have also been seen fighting together]] against the likes of Buu, Zamasu, and the personification of evil Janemba. As for Janemba himself, the Kais are fuming with how he disrupted Other World, as the Supreme Kais watch over both it, and the Mortal World. The Kais have begun weaving spells to try and destroy him once and for all, though without success thus far.
** While the Kais do faithfully abide by the policy of [[AlienNonInterferenceClause non-interference]] laid forth for them by the celestial bureaucracy, they don't attempt to hide their contempt for the [[CompleteMonster monstrously evil]] mortals wreaking havoc through Universe 7. Their hearts broke to pieces when they saw the amount of suffering Frieza, his relatives, and his forces have caused, and they have been arguing with Beerus for him not disposing of Freiza. The Kais also have a rather personal objection to Cell, as when he attempted to blow himself up to destroy the Earth, he ended up killing Universe 7's North Kai, King Kai, due to Goku teleporting himself and Cell to King Kai's planet. Cell is quite jealous of the Kais as they all [[CurbStompBattle crushed him like a bug]]. Cell has been training to try and surpass the Kais, and destroy the Sacred World of the Kai out of spite.
* It goes without saying that the Supreme Kais have a very tumultuous relationship with the god killers in the Pantheon. While many expected them to be terrified of the likes of Gorr the God-Butcher, and the Saint of Killers, the truth is actually more complex. While they ''were'' appalled by the sheer carnage the two god slayers caused, especially Gorr, as one of their followers is one of Gorr's most famous victims, their emotions grew conflicted when they learned how many of the deities Gorr and the Saint killed ''absolutely'' [[AssholeVictim had it coming]], especially with the [[Film/ThorLoveAndThunder most recent iteration of Gorr]]. They are a more negative to the Saint, as his status as a SociopathicSoldier makes them worried that he could be swayed by Freiza against the Gods of Universe 7, and beyond, on top of his less sympathetic origins when compared to Gorr. While they aren't in any hurry to fight either of them, they have decided to try extending an olive branch to them for the sake of others.
* The beautiful Sacred World of the Kai serves as the Kais' temple. As per its name, only people who are directly invited by the Supreme Kais can visit, and while on their world, the Kais live peacefully. At least they would, if evil god-slayers didn't keep coming to try killing them. The Nameless God came first. The Kais were horrified by how he defiled souls, and shoved gods into his basement purely out of jealousy, and quickly expunged him. When Sutehk heard of the Kais, and their connection to one of his strongest foes, Beerus, he invaded the Sacred World of the Kai to kill them. The Kais and Beerus put aside their mistrust to fight him off. After this, the Kais started weaving greater wards around their world to prevent more invasions.
* While they were alive, the Kais, including Shin, were known as the "Watchers of the Cosmos", due to their peaceful observation of the worlds they worked to forge, as per their status as the Gods of Creation. Rosalina took notice of this element of the Kais, and visited their world with Comet Observatory. The Kais happily received her, being intrigued by her usage of the power of the stars, as well as finding the Lumas to be adorable. Uatu the Watcher found many parallels with the Kais, both due to their sacrifices against Moro, and Buu, and their mandated neutrality when the God who is unbound by such things is [[TheGodsMustBeLazy Beerus]]. The Kais related with how helpless Uatu can be to protect the worlds he watches, and while they are more closely adherent to their own neutrality, they do admire how when the chips come down, Uatu will [[ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight bend his oath to save people]].
** Normally, the Kais would coordinate with their Universe's God of Destruction to get rid of overly destructive mortals, and other monsters. While the Kais have been willing to bend this rule against Moro, Babidi, and others, they tend to adhere to it closely, so they have tremendous respect for divine entities who aren't bound by such rules, and use their powers to actively defend Mortals. The Goddess of Light, Palutena, and her Angel, Pit, are near the top of that list. The Kais greatly admired the sacrifices that they have made to defend the Earth, and the Heavens from the likes of Hades. The two offered their utmost praises in turn for the Kais giving their lives to try and stop Majin Buu, as well as their proactivity in stopping Moro.
** Conversely, as the Kais adore divine beings who do their job and protect Mortals, they loathe divine beings who pervert their domains, and harm Mortals. When Palutena, and Pit informed the Kais of Hades, it was hate at first sight. Hades unleashing monsters from the Underworld reminded the Kais of Bibidi, and his desecration of the afterlife reminded them of Janemba. Hades finds the Kais to be very aggravating as they are individually at least as strong as him, if not stronger, and they are happy to slay his godly lieutenants. They also stand highly opposed to the Elder God Shinnok, as the Netherrealm has similarities to Other World which the Kais also safeguard, and they didn't appreciate his perversion of it.
* While the Kais are known for [[TheWorfEffect getting killed by Buu]], and struggling with Moro, they are still ''extremely'' strong, much more so than [[GodIsInept Shin]]. The Demons that make up the Ten Commandments are terrified of the Kais. Both of their settings run on a power level system, and every Supreme Kai could one shot an untrained Freeza with a finger, when his power level is 120 million, a level so far beyond all of the Commandments put together it isn't even funny given how quick the Kais are to engage evil Demons. Lord Tirek and Mard Geer Tartaros both share this opinion, as the Supreme Kais singled out both for being like Moro. Both villains were horrified to learn that someone as strong as Moro cannot drain Supreme Kai magic, as seen by his inability to stop [[DePower Kai Kai Matoru]], when Moro's [[BroughtDownToBadass baseline]] utterly eclipses Tirek and Tartaros at their ''best''. While the Fallen Angel Raynare doesn't ''fear'' the Kais, she is incredibly jealous of how much their divine power exceeds her own. Of course, while they ''are'' very strong, they aren't the brightest candles around. When Shin asked why they didn't fuse to combat Moro, or Buu, his mentors looked at him [[ForgotAboutHisPowers before admitting it didn't occur to them to do so]].
* Thanks to their deaths at the hands of Majin Buu, the Kais greatly revile similar entities such as the Dark Matter Horde. Seeing Dark Matter swallow world after world in shadows horrified the Kais, and they quickly took action when the Horde attempted to taint Other World. They found a great deal of struggle as while their Magic was effective, most of their Ki attacks wasn't. Fortunately, they didn't need to hold back Dark Matter, as a certain pink puffball helped fight them back. The Kais were quite intrigued when they saw how similar to Buu this friendly little gumdrop was, and they were happy to befriend them, even being fascinated with how similar Planet Popstar was to the Sacred World of the Kai.
** In the aftermath of the Kais befriending the Super Tuff Pink Puff, they were introduced to some of Kirby's sisters in arms in fighting Dark Matter: The Sailor Guardians. The two groups quickly took a liking to each other, with the Kais seeing the Senshi as being the Magical Girl equivalent of the Z-Fighters who defeated Buu and Moro, and the Senshi seeing the Kais' creation of new worlds through the universe as being akin to the creation brought upon by the Galaxy Cauldron if it had active agents of its will. The two groups have frequently been found visiting each others' homes and happily trading stories or sharing feasts.
** Their friendships with Kirby and the Sailor Guardians led the Kais to growing to despise the likes of Fecto Forgo, and Chaos. The Kais have the most direct loathing for Forgo due to it sharing Buu's [[TheAssimilator ability to absorb people]], and Buu's singular drive to destroy everything, a sentiment Forgo enflamed by trying to slam a planet into the Sacred World of the Kai. Chaos meanwhile, earned the Kais' disgust for possessing Sailor Galaxia just like Dark Matter, and forcing her to become a force of devastation that rivaled Moro. The Kais especially loathe Chaos' desire to infect the Galaxy Cauldron to pervert new creation.
* Amongst the many dieites within the Pantheon, the only ones that the Kais truly ''fear'' are the two near almighty knights, Galacta Knight, and Morpho Knight. Galacta Knight horrifies the Kais for his unbelievable destructive power, effectively rendering him a being who is even more powerful than the Gods of Destruction, but with the mind of Kid Buu. Even with knowing how he can be sealed away, the Kais are too frightened by him to actually try. They also tremble in fear at the sight of [[TheGrimReaper Morpho Knight]] due to the Butterfly targeting beings who have been revived from death, or cling to life, including ones as strong as Galacta Knight, and the Kais dread Morpho Knight effectively Hakai'ing them.
* As the Gods of Creation, the Supreme Kais were meant to work alongside Beerus to get rid of old dead worlds and make space for new vibrant ones. As such, the Kais respect deities relating to creation and destruction who help people and do their duties, such as Sailor Galaxia, and the Lake Guardians. Galaxia is who the Kais ''wish'' Beerus had been, as she would have killed Moro, and Buu. The Lake Guardians help balance out the Creation Trio to prevent their powers being used for evil, and despite being godlike beings themselves, they suffered at the hands of Cyrus, just as the Kais were indirectly killed by Bibidi. Conversely, the Kais ''despise'' deities who pervert the balance between creation and destruction, especially Chakravartin, and Yuuki Terumi. While the Kais individually stand no chance against Chakravartin, as with Moro, they are prepared to fuse to fight him. Terumi was furious when he found that North, West, and South Kai could defeat him as a team, and Grand Supreme Kai could defeat him by himself if he has all of his power.
* Due to being killed or absorbed by Buu, the Kais inadvertently left their responsibilities to the woefully unprepared Shin, and they are deeply saddened by how much their student and friend struggled after their passing. As such, they drifted close to God, and Bruce Nolan. They pity God's struggle with his job, and have offered to try and help take some struggle off his shoulders, though he turned them down. Bruce himself earned the Kais admiration for how selflessly he acted while in the role of God, with Bruce returning the sentiment for how noble and selfless the Kais were with their own sacrifices, and efforts to be noble deities. Alm and Celica also earned their praise due to the duo helping to lead their respective nations out from under their own dying Gods, like how the Z-Fighters took up the task of defending the Universe.
** When Mithra heard of how the Kais sacrificed their lives for the sake of the universe, just as her father did so, she extended a hand of friendship towards them, an offer the Kais accepted. The Kais also grew close with the Acolyte and the Radiant Goddess after meeting them while reporting to Zeno. Both figures are also watchers of the stars, as well as former mortals taking over for another deity, and their hearts broke when they heard of how the Kais were killed by Buu. The Kais also share their appreciation of food, and happily accept the Acolyte's pancakes. Archangel Michael is also deeply sympathetic to the Kais due to one of his [[Literature/HighSchoolDXD iterations]] having to take the place of God after God gave his life fighting [[EldritchAbomination Trihexa]].
** Some of the Kais' more unexpected friendships were formed with deities known for slaying Gods. Recently, Kratos has tempered his rage, became a truly noble figure, and even made peace with some Norse Gods, having grown to respect truly noble deities. Asura heard his daughter's praise of the Kais and became fast friends with them, seeing them as the heroic foil to the Seven Deities. The Kais admire both for their shift into kind figures despite their grim backgrounds, and also like Asura becoming a noble [[DestroyerDeity Destroyer God]]. While Bayonetta is famous for felling Jubileus, she does work with divine entities who use their power for good, and related to the Kais' struggles with Bibidi, due to Bibidi reminding her of Loptyr.
* Much like the five lower Kais in Universe 7, the Supreme Kais have a dynamic in the vein of TheFourGods, even if they don't directly reference them. The Kais have four cardinal Supreme Kais (including Shin), and then the Grand Supreme Kai who [[TopGod stands above them all]]. When the Kais heard of the Four Holy Beasts, they were intrigued and quickly befriended the four Digimon. The Digimon were surprised when they learned how the Kais were felled by Majin Buu, but still appreciated their dedication to their job. Oddly, thus far only Universe 7 has shown itself to have four cardinal Supreme Kai, and one Grand Supreme Kai, and Universe 7's Kais are [[EverybodyCallsHimBarkeep only referred to by their titles]], even by Shin. When asked why this is... the Kais opt to not answer.
* While the Kais are mainly known for powerful Magic, and welding the power of creation, like most other people in Universe 7, they utilize Ki, and forms of martial arts in fighting. When Po, and the Furious Five heard of the Kais, they were intrigued, and introduced themselves. The Kais were more than happy to invite them back to the Sacred World of the Kai upon hearing of their many great deeds, and decided to teach them much more advanced ways of utilizing Chi, lessons that all six warriors happily began attending. When the Xiaolin Dragons learned of Po, and the Five's new teachers, they decided to ask what the hubbub was about. When Po, and the Five vouched for them, the Kais were happy to tutor the Dragons in place of Master Fung, and help unlock their full potential. The Kais also appreciated the similar dynamic the Dragons had to them, right down to their most recent iteration including their own equivalent to Shin.
* Grand Supreme Kai:
** The Grand Supreme Kai, also know as the Great Lord of Lords or Daikaioh, is the [[TopGod highest ranked Kai in Universe 7]]. He's a [[BigFun very large, friendly, and wise]] deity who loves his Universe, and its people. 10 million years ago, Daikaioh sacrificed the majority of his Divine Power to seal away Moro's magic, and would ultimately be absorbed by Majin Buu, reverting Buu into Fat Buu. Despite this, he is actually still able to be brought forth within Buu with special incense. After he ascended along with his friends, he was happy to make new friends of the many other deities present.
** To the surprise of no one, Daikaioh quickly befriended the likes of Iroh, Master Oogway, and Master Yoda. Like Iroh, Daikaioh is an incredibly powerful fighter who is unimpeded by his girth, but who prefers peacefully enjoying food to combat. Like Oogway, Daikaioh is a wise mentor to his younger pupils who used his powers to seal away an incredibly dangerous villain in the distant past. Like Yoda, Daikaioh is a friendly, and silly being who fought against a threat to all the stars. He frequently invites his three friends to have tea with him on the Sacred World of the Kai.
** Po took to Daikaioh the most out of all the Kais due to their similarly [[AllLovingHero loving natures]], their talent at martial arts being unimpeded by their size, and their appreciation of food. Crane also took to Daikaioh due to sharing his gentle nature. Both Po and Crane were delighted to listen to Daikaioh's tales of fighting Moro and Buu. Daikaioh has also decided to mentor Omi more personally, hoping to help tame his ego, lessons that he is happy to see Omi has taken to due to Daikaioh reminding him of Master Fung, and so Omi is eager to make Daikaioh proud with his progress.
** When Kai heard of someone who shared his name as a title and who was friends with Oogway, his curiosity was piqued, and he decided to investigate. He managed to witness Daikaioh battling Moro, only to be horrified when he witnessed Daikaioh once more utilizing Kai Kai Matoru to strip Moro of his stolen Energy and Magic. Kai was so terrified due to knowing that if ''he'' was hit by such an attack, it could wipe him from the Earth due to needing his stolen Chi to remain in the Mortal Realm. In fact, as Chi is the thing holding his soul together it could even ''[[DeaderThanDead erase him from existence]]''.
* South Supreme Kai:
** The South Supreme Kai is [[TheAce the second strongest of the Universe 7 Supreme Kais]], and became ''the'' strongest and sturdiest of them all when Daikaioh sacrificed most of his power. South Kai's brawn and general appearance attracted the attention of Wreck-it-Ralph, and Zangief. While they stand no chance against his Divine Powers, they do still happily indulge in comparisons of physical strength with South Kai, which South Kai embraces warmly, and the three relate to each other's [[ButtMonkey goofiness]]. South Kai has even offered to unlock their potential to level the playing field in the physicality competition.
** Out of all of the Kais, South Kai is the most devoted to training as he [[BloodKnight enjoys the thrill of a good brawl]]. Because of this he and Tigress hit it off extremely well, the Kung Fu Master testing the progression of her own skills by seeing if she can make him move. Clay of the Dragons also took to South Kai due to respecting his magnificent strength, and also sharing South Kai's appreciation of a healthily sized meal. South Kai was greatly impressed in both of his pupils, and happily treated them to a feast.
** When South Kai fought Buu, he was in a rocky crag. While he was tutoring Clay, he was attacked by Yuuki Terumi in a similar area. South Kai fought Terumi into a cave, where he tried to use Clay as a shield. It was then that Terrakion attacked Terumi, helping South Kai drive him away and save Clay. Afterwards, South Kai felt a link with Terrakion, admiring his might and courage just as the Legendary Pokemon admired such traits in South Kai. As the two conversed, [[CommonalityConnection they felt more and more in sinc]], and thus Terrakion ''finally'' found a partner as he declared South Kai to be said partner.
* West Supreme Kai:
** The West Supreme Kai is the [[TheSmurfettePrinciple sole female Supreme Kai of Universe 7]]. West Kai is notable due to her being [[EnsembleDarkhorse the most popular of her peers]] amongst the fanbase. She was shocked to hear of a story where she became a [[Webcomic/DragonBallAFToyble villain]], which she quickly disavowed. Still, she was tentatively curious about others with similar statuses, and her exploration of this led to her hitting it off with Peggy Carter. West Kai was intrigued when she heard Peggy's tale of a timeline where she became a SuperSoldier and fought an [[EldritchAbomination entity]] like Buu, and they traded tales of their respective efforts to leave a positive change for their successors.
** West Kai has more to her than being a woman. She's quite courageous as she was the first to battle Buu, a trait that earned the Dragon Kimiko's admiration, and she happily learned from West Kai. West Kai also has a mischievous streak, and she loves playing pranks on her peers, especially South Kai. To aid her friendly pranks, West Kai has been working with Monkey for his skill at hiding things. The two once managed to prank the other Kais, and Terrakion by hiding their food, something they [[ActuallyPrettyFunny all]] found hilarious.
** Due to being killed in a glacier, West Kai dislikes cold places, and she ''loathes'' [[EldritchAbomination beings like Buu who rule those places]]. While she was heading to meet Uxie in Lake Acuity, West Kai saw Ithaqua, and Elsa. Ithaqua was attempting to make Elsa his Queen, and he had grabbed her. West Kai already pitied Elsa for her struggles with protecting her people and the cold, so she swooped in and [[AlwaysABiggerFish pulverized the Great Old One]]. As Ithaqua fled into the night, West Kai declared that Elsa would never have to worry about Ithaqua again [[DeclarationOfProtection as she would keep a protective eye on her]], something Elsa is deeply greatful for.
* North Supreme Kai:
** The North Supreme Kai is seemingly the [[CoolOldGuy oldest of the Universe 7 Supreme Kais]]. Much like Daikaioh, North Kai is a mild mannered and laid back deity who enjoys fishing in his free time. He also happens to be one of the deadliest swordsmen in all of Universe 7, being talented enough to get in a bifurcating hit on someone as fast as Majin Buu. When Irina Shidou, and Xenovia Quarta heard of North Kai, they were filled with admiration for their fellow blademaster's bravery, especially when he, much like their version of God, gave his life fighting a Universe devestating abomination.
** Despite, or perhaps even because of his mild mannered temperament, North Kai has opted to tutor Mantis, and Raimundo, despite both of them being [[HotBlooded hyper active and aggressive warriors]]. The two have been working to hone their aggression, and Raimundo in particular is happy to learn swordsmanship from North Kai. Viper has also taken to North Kai quite a bit, finding the Kai to be very agreeable in attitude, even enjoying North Kai's fishing as he gives her some of his catches.
** North Kais significant skill with the blade attracted the attention of Dracule Mihawk. Mihawk was intrigued when he heard of a true deity who specialized in wielding a blade when his peers did not, and his curiosity piqued when hesaw North Kai clashing blades with Dabura. Mihawk stepped in as North Kai bested Dabura, and challenged the Kai to a duel of blades. While North Kai was puzzled by Mihawk's desire to fight him, he ultimately accepted. Mihawk was thrilled with his foe, as North Kai's divine blade refused to break. After the two fought to a draw, Mihawk informed the Kai [[WorthyOpponent of his respect]], and walked home satisfied.
