* "Tribute" by ''Music/TenaciousD'' is about how they were challenged by a devil to sing the greatest song in the world and managed to improvise what was indeed the greatest song in the world. Eventually it's clarified that ''this'' is not that song, they've forgotten how it went, this is totally different and just a tribute to it. The music video shows flashbacks of them performing but without sound, that is, without the sound they were making at the moment.

* Strangely, the scene in TheWho's 1921 (off of their RockOpera Tommy) in which Captain Walker kills the man he finds in bed with his wife isn't actually mentioned in any line of the song. Weird, considering that this incident is what made Tommy deaf, dumb and blind.
