** Eggman's plot this time around is to use a machine that borrows energy from the planet to power his machines. However, once the Deadly Six escape his control, they use it to drain the life out of the planet and enhance their own abilities. While Amy isn't disappearing in that cutscene, she and Knuckles do eventually succumb to the effects of the machine further into the game...

** The impact is somewhat lessened by the fact that ''VideoGame/SonicAdvanceTrilogy'' had capsules that dropped from the sky in addition to the fact that the dropped capsule will likely be the one in the first stage.

It didn't look like either of them were smugly smiling at that moment, they were ''surprised'' that Eggman went there with his threats.

* Pretty much everything about [[BloodKnight Zazz]]. He's feral, savage, always has a [[SlasherSmile crazy expression on his face]] [[AxCrazy and is constantly on the verge of a nervous breakdown]], revels in violence and destruction, [[{{Sadist}}makes sadistic and graphic threats during his fights]], and the sheer sadistic glee with which he taunts Sonic and Eggman about their home being destroyed makes him arguably the scariest of the Deadly Six.

* It's shown in the later stages of the game that Sonic well and truly ''DESPISES'' the Deadly Six for what they did, even more so than he'd ever feel about Eggman. The first moment this is shown is when he quietly curses them after Tails is torn away from him, and later, once he sees the result of that kidnapping, he's REALLY close to losing his patience outright, and not at all willing to let them get away with their crimes all throughout.
