* Deag Grav's killing of Fox in Chapter 15. It's so sudden that nobody has time to react to it. Even more so is how the Argent energy tears him apart from the inside, and then Deag slices him in half vertically from his torso ''upwards''.

To make matters worse, his corpse comes back in the next chapter, but BodyHorror abounds. In short, he tries to strangle Coco using ''his own intestines'' as '''tentacles!'''

* In Chapter 27, we discover how horrific were the experiments the SDC was doing with captured Faunus. The most horrific is the one explicitly inspired by ''Film/EventHorizon''. Multiple Faunus were brought to a chamber and exposed to special pheromones, resulting in all of them '''raping and killing''' each other. The goal? To summon a demon with this death orgy, all for the sake of their experiments.

Before she can run up to hug her, it's revealed that ''this'' Summer had her eyes bored out of her sockets and has a giant, bloody hole in her stomach, indicating that her womb was '''torn out of her body'''.

* Ruby's growing SanitySlippage reaches an apex in Chapter 28, where she quietly mutters "...kill them...kill them all..." and then slashes through the radial artery of one of the guards. Remember, this was the idealistic kid who just wanted to help save people, and now she's slicing through normal humans and [[LackOfEmpathy being utterly apathetic to their pain]]. ''Everyone'' keeps comparing her to the Slayer and that she's turning into him, but Catrice believes she's becoming something else that's just as terrifying.

From what I understand, examples can't be too general or just come off as a large description.

* Deag Grav itself, the hell priest that tainted the Wraiths, turning them into living batteries for Hell, merged Argent D'Nur with Hell, and planned the trap that captured the Slayer, is the main threat to all Remnant. He has no problem with dirty tactics, including using dead bodies to hide himself before attacking (once in the cathedral and the second in the old ruins, killing Fox). He also doesn't give any chances to his enemies. In fact, he was the only one that objected to the idea of keeping the Slayer alive in the sarcophagus and despises the Dark Lord of the Fourth Age for punishing him for the Slayer's rampage and denying his ascension to a Baalgar, to the point of calling him ungrateful when the Lord called him in the Argenta ruin.
