* A currently lost Indonesian drug PSA has a girl named Nadia (a rather common Indonesian name for girls) sitting on a swing with a pale face. A few seconds later, her mom comes in, trying to feed her some food. Despite the mom's urge, the girl seemingly refuse to take a bite, still sitting with a blank face expression. What makes this PSA scary is the vibe which is more of a horror movie rather than a drug PSA. It was so dark that many of the lost media hunters in Indonesia thought it was a PSA for other issues such as child abuse and sexual violence instead of drug issues.

Unfortunately, neither is able to tell her their location due to being ''high on meth'', and although the woman was equally desperate to find and help them, the couple was ultimately found [[CruelAndUnusualDeath frozen to death]].[[note]]And although it's not mentioned in the commercial, it was noted that when they were found since they were in such an extreme state of hypothermia they endured paradoxical undressing where the brain fools one into thinking they were actually ''hot'' and had to relieve this condition.[[/note]]

Midway through the ad, the footage glitches out completely and a different, quiet one airs instead... [[MoodWhiplash with bleak memorials of various young musicians whose careers and life came to a halt due to heroin abuse]], complete with unnevring buzzing noises for each artist.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5Zt4weyRnQ One 1998 PSA]] was allegedly done in response to claims that the fashion industry at the time was promoting heroin use in young people. It features an attractive model sitting down in front of a mirror, letting her hair down and removing her fake eyelashes, makeup, etc. Finally, she removes a set of false teeth from her upper mouth that she uses to cover up the teeth she lost due to heroin abuse.

* From Glaxo Smith Kline UsefulNotes/{{Philippines}} comes [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80_OvNYG_DI this PSA about Rotavirus.]] A baby is seen lying on a crib with its teddy bear, when the Toys/{{teddy bear}} retracts its claws and bares its teeth, preparing to attack the baby until the baby's mother enters the room. Doesn't help that the music goes from music box tunes to something out of a horror film.

* An unsettling series of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBd4vUeyvwk radio ads]] features toddlers talking about doing heroin and the side effects they are experiencing due to their addiction ("I always get sick afterwards," "Heroin makes my skin itch," etc.). The idea of [[HarmfulToMinors babies or toddlers casually talking about heroin]] is ''extremely'' disturbing, especially if you're a parent yourself.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkToIFZgeh8 This one]] is easily one of the most horrifying ads produced by the Montana Meth Project. It has a father drive his daughter to a dark alley behind a building (and the girl's mother ''doesn't even know about it) to meet his meth dealer. It is then revealed than, in exchange for giving the guy meth, the dealer is allowed to do [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil whatever he likes]] to the guy's daughter. It ends with the guy admitting he feels more dead than alive at this point while his daughter pleads for her father to save her from her rapist. Keep in mind he starts out the video by discussing how much he always wanted a child and claimed to care for his daughter.
